I bought this laptop at a great price! There was nothing close to this one on specs vs. price. The only thing that stops me from a 5 star review is that the hard drive seems noisy. I called Dell tech support (which I am impressed with as they called me back when promised and multiple times to check on the laptop) and we ran a system test. All is fine. However, even just sitting idle it's either the fan noise at random speeds or the hard drive. I keep this one backed up just in case. Otherwise, I have been very happy with the speed and performance of this laptop.

My only concern is the plastic body, but you're getting a great value for the price. Touchscreen, i5, 8gb of RAM and 1TB hard drive is a great deal.

Nice computer, runs as advertised. The Edge browser installed is horrible, if Microsoft really wants to push this browser they may want to tweek it a lot!! This is a great computer for the price, so far I have no problems with it. I purchased Jan. 23rd, 2017. I have had it almost a full month. I like Windows 10 and Cortana and all the different things it can do, practically takes dictation, its definitely a plus. Also people need to remember when you first get the computer home please update it and be patient or it will not run properly.

Working good for the last 3 weeks. Need more power for multitasking, which is out of scope for this i5 processor. 8GB memory and 1 TB HDD is on the best side to have in this laptop. Video and voice are good. Windows 10 is some thing that one has to get used to as until Win 7 its old used way of doing things, as you got to search for those commands and shortcuts you can be through of to play with Win 10. I'll have to see how to uninstall unwanted apps to make it run faster. Pros: display, memory, HDD, usb 3, Cons: power,performance.

Nice computer; incredible price on Black Friday! Computer has a touch screen, lots of storage, and runs fast! I have an older Dell laptop that is still working great. I bought this for my son and I expect it will last a long time too.

I have had this laptop for a year and it has worked well for me. The sound was quite good when I first used it but it appears that the maximum volume is diminishing now. It is a good laptop for the price.

After having this laptop for a few weeks, I am pleased with this purchase overall. I think I noticed on other reviews some issues with the mouse/cursor, and I too had that at first, but it seems to have cleared up. Not sure if an update of some sort resolves that issue or what. No other issues so far! Very pleased with battery life, seems to hold a charge well. My kids use touch screen small laptops at school, so having this feature is a plus for when they use it for homework.

Easy to use! Easy easy set up. Bought it for my college student. She loves it. Light weight. Would buy it again. She loves it and that makes us happy. Reasonable price as we got it on Black Friday.

Computer friends told me to get it; fast, cheap, great deal. My job entails making presentations, reports, and lunch breaks of YouTube. Couldn't have better success with another product. Good buy!

This was an early birthday gift for my husband. He uses it to go on social media, watch streaming video, and play online games. It works well for his level of use. I wouldn't recommend it for hardcore gamers, but for people who play the occasional WoW-type games, it should work fine.

We were fortunate enough to get this laptop during a black friday deal, so we got an amazing deal on it paying under $400 for a laptop worth over $600. We had bought the exact same laptop somewhere else, but when we saw the deal on this one, and the fact that it has a touchscreen which the other one did not, we immediately returned it and bought this one. We've had it for a little over a month, and I've had no complaints at all. The laptop does come will Dell's bloatware, but I've found some of them to be useful. Comparing it to my previous laptop, the 8gb of ram seems to make this thing feel super fast. No complaints, very happy with the purchase.

Easy to set up & use The mouse pad not great, slow to respond at times (switched to external one). The battery life is good. Really like the look of this laptop. Good size screen.

This is my second laptop purchase since moving away from PC's. Experience with the first model taught me some things to look for, the Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series has those features. I wanted faster internet speed and the larger Ram of this machine is doing the job. Still getting used to the Touch-Screen feature, just keep forgetting its there! I am just a casual internet surfer and enjoy music videos and catching up on the news of the day so this laptop meets those requirements nicely. At under $400 very nice purchase, no problems experienced after 1 month of use, so am very pleased with my new Dell.

bought for my daughter as a freshman in college. has served her well for her needs for both on campus and online classes. no issues with the computer.

This a great laptop with an I5 processor, 8gb memory and a 1tb hard drive. The best part is that it was only 350 as compared to other models that cost 600 or more.

This Dell Inspiron laptop is a fantastic product. Great design and plenty of memory with 8 gb & 1 Tb hard drive. Great to also have touch screen and DVD drive.

Touchscreen. Sufficient professor and ram to go with a clean and simple design. May not have a cool sleek look but for the practical user it can't be beat
