I need to replace my old laptop, so i bought this 2-in-1 touch screen laptop. it is working very good. but should have more accessories come with this like Touch Pen, Antivirus, laptop bag. I have observed that Battery remaining time Not showing correct. Keypad keys are not visible in some cases(in shadow not visible) over all I am giving 4 rating, I thought it is 4.5-5 star worth before purchase, but my experience only 4 rating. the model should have more colors.

Over all enjoying the product. Using Windows 10 OS. Works well for online courses that contain either pre-recorded video or reading portions. Boots up & turns off quickly. Easily downloads required programs. Both Zoom & Facebook Messenger video calls are crisp picture & sound. Compact, light weight & fits in a standard backpack or messenger bag for transport. Touch screen is hypersensitive, but makes things easier once you're used it that feature. Would definitely buy this one again.

It has a sleek aluminum design and gorgeous display. Combining these features with strong performance and discrete Nvidia graphics, the Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 is a solid machine for people who want a large convertible with a high-resolution display. The screen is large and bright and it has plenty of power under the hood for most users. The colors are great and the touch is very nice. The lit-up keys help at night or when you are at low light. 1. Vibrant and crisp FHD display 2. Flexible 2-in-1 design 3. Premium aluminum materials

I have had this laptop nearly four years, and it is just now starting to do things that annoy me. I purchased it because I wanted something bigger that wasn't heavy. The 15" monitor is a little better for spreadsheets that I work with. I have dropped it at least three times, and it still works, so it's pretty tough. I attached a screenshot to show the monitor colors are still vivid. The charging cable broke this morning, and I came online to see if I could find something compatible, because this things is still working well. Lately I have noticed that sometimes it does seem to run a little hot, but the fans settle down quickly. This was a good deal.

    Mic is Defective

I was SO excited for this laptop...you have no idea! Everything worked fine (though it was a bit slower compared with other laptops) until I had a zoom meeting. Long story short: the mic does not work. NO driver or windows update or tweaking of mic and sound properties in the world could fix this. Others could either: hear me continuously if I disabled the recorder (mic) enhancer, but at the cost of BARELY being able to hear my voice (their speakers at max); or they could clearly listen to what I was saying if I enabled the enhancer, but at the cost of intermittently hearing my voice--it would only last 5-10 seconds and they I had to clap my hands, snap my fingers, scream or tap near the front right corner of the laptop. The only other way they could listen to me is if I held the laptop in my hands or left it on my lap. As soon as I placed it on a hard surface (call it table/desk, which we always use to work) the problems came back. I am beyond disappointed in this laptop and DELL. I've owned DELL my entire life and to have this happened to me I feel betrayed. Thinking that was just unlucky, I bought another one of the same series but with better RAM, hard drive and processor. Ugh...the SAMEEEE!! I wasted $60 going back and forth from best buy to get this fixed and changed quickly (couldn't afford being without a laptop), and of course I ended up wasting money in more than 1 way.

      AnPK,

We're very sorry to hear about the microphone issues that you've had with your computer if you try to use an external microphone we'd recommend installing Waves MaxxAudio and selecting 'Headset' as the device to ensure that it is working properly with your computer. Please reach out to Dell's Technical Support Team for additional assistance: http://dell.to/2sH7Qlm.

I bought this laptop after finding out that the MacBook I ordered wasn’t touch screen (that might not matter to some people, but it makes a huge difference to me). This computer is perfect for the average person and it is also a great computer for college. It has a number pad making any math class a lot easier. Instead of punching in numbers from the top row, like most computer. The number of pad makes a huge difference. The computer is lightweight, and has great battery life. I would recommend this computer to anyone.

I purchased this Dell for my 8 year old nephew as he prepares for online classes this Fall 2020. I own a Dell laptop for three years and it's worked great. Mine is the 17in with Core i7 and 16 GB memory. This one is 15.6 inch with Core i5 and 12 GB memory. I figure these specs are good enough for the activities he'll be doing and the online games he likes to play. He likes the back lit keyboard and being able to convert it into a large tablet like device. The touchscreen has worked well and so have the mouse pad and keyboard. I can't knock this computer at this time as there haven't been issues in the two weeks we've had it. Based on my experience with my Inspiron, I hope this turns out just as good. I chose Dell because I find it more reliable than HP and a lot less inexpensive than Mac. You will need to update the software once you get it. Setting up the Windows account is a bit tedious. I purchased a 3-year accidental damage plan with it. The overall cost came to about $1,200.

Purchased this for my 3rd graders remote learning experience this year. I purchased the i7 4K version of the 1700 2-in-1 earlier this year and have had a great experience with it. I shopped around and waited to find the best deal in the timeline that I had before school started. Easy to use, easy to set up. Great picture and my son loves the touchscreen. Only issue we have had to date is a screen flickering issue that was easily resolved. Will monitor the screen flickering and may utilize my Geek Squad Protection that I purchased with it (I did get it for my 3rd grader!).

I've had this for about a month or so. My only complaint would be the that i do have some issues with the fingerprint reader. Reads/ not reads. Other then that it is superfast to boot up. I have no issues going from app to app as fast as i can transition to them. Weight is very light. When on my laptop it does not seem to get very hot at all. Very happy with this purchase. I was lucky to get this as BB was pretty much sold out of all laptops.

I bought this laptop for my daughter who is a high school senior and also taking some college classes. I bought a Dell as my own personal computer is a Dell and have had zero problems. This laptop had all the features she wanted such as touch screen, 2 in 1 so it can be used as a tablet, and quick delivery as school was starting. It was easy to set up right out of the box and she loves it for not only school work but for watching Prime Video and Netflix during downtime. I am very happy with both my Dell laptops and will be buying another soon for my other daughter who is in HS.

Time will tell whether I made a good purchase. I love the way the laptop folds backwards onto itself and becomes a tablet. The large screen is bright and crisp, great for older eyes. Took me 2 weeks to figure out how to turn off the backlit keyboard [F5], which makes the keys difficult to read in bright ambient light. Backlight best used in darker settings. The touchscreen is great too. I just hope opening and closing the laptop doesn't wear out or break the screen wiring, as I've had this happen on several past Dell models.

I haven’t had this long, but so far, so good. I needed a new light/medium duty laptop to replace my 11+ yr old laptop. This slim, lightweight laptop does everything I need it to. The screen colors are much more vibrant than my old laptop. The keyboard and mouse work great. I’m not a fan of the fingerprint scan to unlock, but I just use my pin and have no problems after that.

I really like this laptop. I’m going to college this fall, and needed something to help me with online courses. I’m not the most tech savvy, but I think it’s easy to navigate. I don’t have any problems with it yet. The only little concern I have is that my laptop sometimes gets really hot even if it’s only been a few minutes. Other than that, it’s a good laptop and easy to use.

It’s super fast, touchscreen reacts quick, processor is awesome... but the problem I had with it was the microphone! People had problem hearing me in video meetings. Ended up having to hook up a spare webcam for that which defeated the whole purpose of the computer mic and camera

Good PC performance with plenty of memory, good screen, and camera works well Only issue I have is that to be heard on Zoom call I have to sit very close or I am not being heard. Is there any way to improve the mike performance?
