The Dell Inspiron 16" 2-in-1 is a top-tier laptop that excels in performance, versatility, and design. It's an excellent choice for professionals, creators, and anyone seeking a high-end computing experience. I am currently using it for my architecture work, which mostly uses Revit and i am very happy with the lighting speed, large super clear screen and sleekness of the model, which is super convenient during travel.

This Dell Inspiron 16" 2.5K 2-in-1 is a powerhouse for IT pros like me running Windows Server admin tools, PowerShell scripts, and multiple VMs via Hyper-V. The Intel Core Ultra 7 155H with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD handles heavy multitasking without breaking a sweat—Photoshop, 3D rendering, and even light gaming fly smoothly thanks to the Intel Arc graphics.
The 2.5K Mini-LED touchscreen is stunning with vibrant colors, 90Hz refresh, and pen support, perfect for tablet mode during client demos or note-taking on the go. Battery lasts a full workday (8-10 hours mixed use), ports include dual Thunderbolt 4 for my docks, and the midnight blue chassis looks premium despite minor fan noise under load.
Only nitpick: hinges are stiff in tent mode initially, but they loosen up. For the price, unbeatable value—highly recommend for business owners juggling IT infrastructure and creative work

Great laptop with excellent performance and design, this computer has great capabilities, easy to use and you will achieve whatever you want with it. Different ports (USB, USB-C, etc.) allow you to connect and do several things at the time. Its design and weight make it very versatile for use while traveling.

I got an open box excellent laptop. The spec is certainly attractive and with a very nice screen. Nevertheless, there is a major design flaw. The cooling is inadequate and the computer suffers from catastrophic failure (8 white 1 amber). It is very likely heat related. I don’t understand why dell designs the cooler in such a pathetic way. The computer is quite heavy but somehow the cooling is so bad. The heat probably causes permanent damage. When I went on the dell service website, someone had already opened a service request for this laptop. The previous owner probably returned it just because of that. Somehow Bestbuy just treated this as an excellent condition laptop and resold it to me. This is totally unacceptable since the previous user must have told them about it. It is even more ridiculous when the laptop was claimed to be inspected by Bestbuy. Either very shady practice or very incompetent technicians. Wasted a whole week waiting for the laptop and another whole week trying to get it to work. Now I am going to return it and let Bestbuy know the computer is defective. They will probably just put it up for sale again, hoping to offload this to another innocent customer.

The laptop itself is great. Best buy not so much. I bought open box buy of this. Didnt include a charger but was not listed as missing. Manager gave be a small discount on a charger. Well sent me over to geek squad and they saud 65 watt charger. Booting up its saying low power mode. I look on dell this takes a 100. I got a 100 at my cost 65 set to side. Next issue was reset by best buy and cover closed to sleep and it was flat dead. That is hard on batteries. Do a shutdown. Problem 3 the device was not runnig. Right. Refused updates odd behavior. So i did a full reset again. On boot up same weird issues like cannot find English language. Would not update just failed. Well as a 40 plus year tech myself i delved into it. I tested the components with a tool and all was fine. Ultimate the drive was corrupted. I had to wipe all the dell off. Then on a usb install i was getting failures and misisng components. I then downloaded the flash utility for bios ans flashed bios ans loaded factory defaults. I was then able to install windows and everything worked. Best conclusion is the drive had some kinda virus that corrupted windows ans corrupted the bios. I mean i got a good deal but honestly for what it took and havibg to buy multiple chargers and couple hours of intense technical resetting and reflash ultimately once again the open box really didnt save anything. Im finding a lot of open box at best buy that needs a lot more work than its worth for the small discount. Seems most people returning items are returning them for a reason. Unless you have advanced skills and want to spend some time you probably want to aboid open box that is supposedly A1 checked by their same geek squad thst cannot even lookup a laptop model and get the correct charger. No instead they simply did a reset closed to cover to sleep the machine so the battery was killed to 0 and up for sale. Not good enough best buy. I ran a computer cutom built systems in the windows 95 era and never gave a customer such a mess to clean up. Had it not been someone like myself willing to clean up your mess it would had to gone back again. Do better.

I made a switch back to Dell and bought this laptop when my previous laptop (an ASUS) died after having it about four years. That's not long enough for a laptop I had spent around $1,500 on. I had an older Dell Inspiron before that which lasted a lot longer, so I decided to go with Dell again.
This Dell is mostly fine, but I have one pretty big complaint. I'm a transcripionist, and one of the main things I use this laptop for is my work. I use Bluetooth headphones while I work. The headphones I have are a great pair that I've been using for a while and had zero problems with before switching to this Dell. For some reason, with this Dell, they frequently drop the Bluetooth connection, which I'm only able to resolve by turning the headphones off and back on. It's a pretty big point of frustration for me, and I know it's not the headphones' fault because they worked great with my other laptop.
This laptop is also a little slower than my ASUS was despite having slightly higher specs on paper and, of course, being newer. It's not enough to be a problem, though.
Other than those points, this laptop has been serving me fine. I've had it for about five months.
I don't see any hints of blue hue in the "midnight blue" laptop color, by the way. It just looks like a regular dark gray/almost-black laptop.

So far so good. Does exactly what I need it to do, run multiple applications at once and has a decent battery life. The only minor item would be the heat coming from under the left side bottom of the computer where when charging cord is plugged in and charging.

This laptop's touch screen is perfect for our disabled son when he is doing his school work or watching videos. The screen flipping over for tablet mode is Great. Not to mention, it is FAST... I am kinda jealous!

This is a fantastic laptop for my needs. It has more than enough memory and speed for your usual browsing, watching movies, and the occasional video game. The clarity on some larger games isn't the best, but decent enough according to my nephew. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase!
