      Chanel,

Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear that your computer is overheating. Here are some tips to keep your computer operating at a lower temperature:

      Tips for Proper Usage:

      1. Dell does not recommend placing portable systems directly on your lap. Due to reductions in the thickness of modern portable systems, heat transfer can be an issue.
      2. Using a portable system (Laptop) on a hard, flat, non-cloth surface will increase airflow and reduce heat from underneath and inside the system.
Using the portable system on a blanket, pillow, or other types of cloth will cover up the fan cause the computer to overheat and can cause permanent damage.
      3. It is recommended to use the portable system in a Room temperature of 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F) with a Humidity level no greater than 90%.
      4. Use compressed air to clean the vents on a regular basis.
      5. Using a cooling pad can decrease heat and increase performance.
      6. If you want to know the temperature limitations for your system, go to the Dell Support Website, look up your system model then open the user guide under the manuals link.

If you'd like there to be less fan noise we'd recommend updating the BIOS on your computer: Update the BIOS: An out-of-date BIOS can cause loud fan noises by having an outdated temperature table for the system. Refer to update BIOS and follow the instructions to update the BIOS on your computer. You can also follow up with our Technical Support Team here - 1-800-624-9896.

After setting up the device, it started heating. The fan turned on and not too long after that a buzzing sound started on the inside, as if a disc was scratching the surface of the laptop. The battery on the device also doesnt last very long. Other than that, it looks like a good device. The ultra hd screen looks fantastic and I like the 2 in 1 feature. It is compact and easy to carry around. The in-built spearkers sound awsome for such a small device. The overheating and buzzing sound may just be a factory fault on this specific device, however it makes it impossible to use the device. .

I used to use my desktop once or twice a month for web browsing mainly, but this laptop is so convenient as a 2 in 1 that I use it 4-5 times a week over my smartphone. The only thing I dislike is the heat it puts off. Battery seems good, processor speed is awesome, and the SSD space is perfect because I use an external SSD and hard drive for storage anyways.

Got this laptop for doing some heavy video and photo editing and it has everything flawlessly. The only "issue" is that it does run loud and somewhat hot when I'm doing big renders but that's not a big issue to me. Would totally recommend this product if you're lucking a well priced beast.

Very light weight laptop with good configuration. Got it for a nice deal. Super fast due to i7 processor and SSD harddrive. Only issue is sometimes it gets hot and the fan spins really fast and it becomes noisy.
