The screen borders are really thin, and the computer is really light. Awesome feature of the computer is the pen, which is magnetic, so it sticks to the computer and chances of loosing your pen is very low.

I only have two negative things to say. The fan gets really loud sometimes. And the camera lens has already cracked and I haven't been rough with it at all.

This is due since the rest of the built feels sturdy and such high quality, that the latter parts don't seem up to par.

Good design but the fan is just so noise

Also, the other good thing is it come with a pen which it's convenient when you need to draw a lot of graph in a math course. However, one thing I don't like is that the fan is so loud and the computer gets too hot (can't even put on my leg) sometimes. Hope there will be a way to solve this problem.

Thanks for letting us know that your computer is working well for you. We're sorry to hear that it's heating up more than you'd like. We'd recommend the following tips to help keep your computer running at a cooler temperature:
Tips for Proper Usage:
1. Dell does not recommend placing portable systems directly on your lap. Due to reductions in the thickness of modern portable systems, heat transfer can be an issue.
2. Using a portable system (Laptop) on a hard, flat, non-cloth surface will increase airflow and reduce heat from underneath and inside the system.
Using the portable system on a blanket, pillow, or other types of cloth will cover up the fan cause the computer to overheat and can cause permanent damage.
3. It is recommended to use the portable system in a Room temperature of 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F) with a Humidity level no greater than 90%.
4. Use compressed air to clean the vents on a regular basis.
5. Using a cooling pad can decrease heat and increase performance.
6. If you want to know the temperature limitations for your system, go to the Dell Support Website, look up your system model then open the user guide under the manuals link.

Great laptop!

The Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 13.3" was among the top of my list. My visit to Best Buy to view in person & discuss with the sales associate confirmed this is the one that best met my needs. It took a few days to cycle through all the Windows 10 & Dell updates, but once that completed, it is working well. Fast boot up, easy connection to internet (both wired & wireless), easy connection to external monitor. Definitely would recommend anyone looking for a new laptop to consider this brand/ model.

Upon start-up, it got too hot to the touch and the fan runs constantly. I had to send it in already to be serviced! Hopefully it will be fixed because the computer is really good.

Please download the BIOS update:
1. Restart the system and press F12 when the Dell Splash logo appears to display the One Time Boot Menu.
2. Using arrow keys, select USB Storage Device and press Return
3. The system will boot to a Diag C:\> prompt
4. Run the file by typing the full filename e.g. O9010A12.exe and hit Return
5. The BIOS Update Utility will load, follow the instructions on the screen.

Fan is too loud

Unit is brand new, might be returning. If loudness isn't an issue for you then its a great unit. Also has a great keyboard.

The memory and storage size is great. The ssd packed in here is fast! Takes no time to boot up and get adobe apps running. The Stylus features are actually very useful if you are into content creation. Love this laptop!
