Really like this laptop. Wish it had a detachable keyboard but it's still great for what I need. I7 with 12 GB of memory. Dell quality is up to par. I've owned 4 or 5 Dell laptops and a couple of Dell desktops. No problems. Didn't give a 5 because I can't tell just how fast the I7 w/12 GB of memory really is.

Bought a few of these while on sale for a business. Compact and easy to use

My Dell Inspiron 13 is a very nice laptop convertible to tablet. I mostly enjoy using it but some areas are more complicated than I'd like (I'm guessing that's my problem...not the machine's). I am moving up from another Dell product that I used for 8 years and I thought there'd be more similarity.

I bought this laptop 2 months back and so far it is great! Pros: Fast performance, quick boot up when compared to my old Laptop's. Like the 2-in-1 Option. Great Design and easy to carry. Cons: I don't like the on/off button which is on the side. And some times I feel touchscreen as unresponsive.

I purchased this laptop for my wife as she needed one for school. The specs are great and it was a very good value. The computer runs great and is one of the best looking products on the market. It has plenty of ports for most users. The screen is bright and vivid. Highly recommend.

The computer. Is slightly different than my old Dell; however, it not too are to figure out. Very fast. Boots right up and is ready to go. It speaks to my impatient personality. My 8 year old loves it! He doesn't want to use any other computer in the house now and we have 4 others!!

exactly what I waithing for the unit, fast and lighter

Compared to my old laptop, this Dell is by far an amazing machine. I love the rapidity with which it boots up and shuts down. With my prior machine, I could have coffee, breakfast and read the paper before it booted up. This Dell is very intuitive (although I need to get more up to speed with Windows 10. Very happy with this purchase.

I wanted something not too fancy, so after some research this laptop is what I decided on. It performs great. It lets me perform all my tasks without a glitch. It does what it needs to do. I was initially going to buy through Dell, but Best Buy was $100 less, and had the 12GB ram instead of the 8GB offered through Dell.

The battery totally failed after only 3 months. After a long session on the phone with Dell Support eliminating possible OS errors, driver errors and any other possible cause the technician agreed that the battery was faulty. A battery repair should be simple right? Just send me one. NOOOOO! I must ship the laptop to them and wait weeks for them to do it. And I have to provide the shipping box and package it so it won’t be damaged. My conclusion is that one must factor the price of an extended in-home warranty into any Dell laptop as part of the base price. When you do that they’re aren’t much of a bargain. I’m going to ignore the warranty and pay to replace the battery locally. Other than the total ridiculousness of Dell Support the laptop has been okay. I’ve owned Dell laptops since the late 90s but this one will be my last.

I was looking for a powerful laptop with a smaller footprint. Had to choose between the i5 and i7 chip. Chose the i7 and really happy I did. The computer went on sale the week after i purchased it and received the lower price. I really like the face recognition for logging on. Very powerful everything i hoped for.
