I picked up this machine because I needed something mobile and fast. I would have liked to see an Ethernet cable on it without an adapter but I was able to manage with wifi access. The machine does heat up a bit in tablet mode but I usually open it up at that point and put it on a lap tray with two fans.

Was looking for a new laptop and didn't want to spend over 1k. I searched for one with great reviews, fast, and adaquet storage. This laptop is great to use as a tablet touch screen and a regular laptop. It's solid state makes for a super quick startup and shut down. No more waiting! Real easy to set up. Light weight. I recommend to anyone needing a laptop but not gaming.

This is a great laptop. It has a metal exterior that looks and feels durable. My only complaint is the poor location for the power button which is on the front right corner of the laptop conveniently located where you would go to grab it causing you to inadvertently put the laptop to sleep. Another complaint is the speakers which isn't the best quality but will work if you dont have to listen to anything too loud.

This is a great product and I am happy with it. I have had no issues. I use it for home office related work and some sound editing mainly. I wanted the best value for the price and I think this more than fits the need. SSD and backlit keyboard are great and my wife like the touch screen. Nice portability going from a former desk top unit.

I needed to replace my three year old Lenovo laptop and after some research, found the Dell Inspiron. Other than the graphics card being less than what I hoped, the machine is flawless. I like the touch screen feature when I take the computer on the road with me. The Inspiron has a good deal of power in a small, lightweight package.

Very pleased with my purchase. I've had no issues at all. Checked the Dell site & uploaded all the updates & its been fast & reliable. I traded in an I3 & this is just so much faster. Plenty of memory. Like the full size back lighted keyboard. I bought this for a cross country road trip & it will be lightweight & easy to handle.

The 2-in-1 latop has the best value among the class. Almost $200 cheaper than comparable spec from other brands. It's been only a month the my we used it, but so far so good. Fast performance, no noise, good response to the touch screen. No complaints so far. I love the convenience of convertible, with right size (13.3 inch).

    Great machine, poor manufacturing

I really wanted to love this computer. It's fast, has beautiful graphics, a good amount of memory and storage, and a solid state drive. A Dell XPS or MacBook with similar specs would easily cost over $1000, so it is even a good price. However, about 3.5 weeks after purchasing this computer (conveniently outside of the 2 week return window) the screen started flickering. Whenever the laptop is moved or the screen is adjusted, it flickers and sometimes disappears entirely. I was told this was likely an issue with how the flex cable was installed which means that this is a manufacturing defect. I have since tried to contact Dell about the problem, but have not heard back from them. As a student, it's really frustrating to invest in a machine that comes with defects like this. That being said, I still cannot give this computer 1 star because absent of the screen issues, it really was a great machine for a great price. Pros: -Specs per price Cons: -Bad manufacturing (lemons!) -Poor customer service from Dell if you have a problem -Bloatware -Occasionally, really loud fan Conclusion: Consider getting a warranty/insurance with this laptop. Warranties are usually ripoffs, but this is now the second computer I have purchased from Dell that has had manufacturing issues. I would try and negotiate the price down a bit though if I were buying this with a warranty. Best of luck!

The quick response of this laptop is awesome due to its fast processor, huge ram, and solid state hard drive. I have no complaints so far. The only downside is the small hard-drive, but most of my programs are on the web so it is not a big deal.

Didn't want a big bulky laptop but needed something with some power. Lightweight but is solidly built. Case is attractive and slim. Lighted keyboard is nice feature. Solid state drive makes this extremely fast. Very pleased with performance.

Great computer, bought it to run autocad and to use in the field, works perfectly. Gets a little hot when it's on your lap and randomly minimizes windows I'm working on, but overall it works well. Plenty of power and battery life.

I'm loving this little laptop. I specifically looked for something that would allow loading of software needed for some particular equipment, as well as being small and lightweight and fast. Got all those features in this puppy. This is my 4th Dell and I've been very happy with all but one.

Mostly this has been a great tablet PC with good performance mostly. I had to replace the battery after about 1.5 years. I updated the memory to 16GB and the SSD to 1TB. It is easily upgraded and nice to work on. Not a problem.
