Overall, this laptop is very fast. I bought it when it was on sale for $200 off. I was debating between this laptop or the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro (this was also on sale at the time). My best advice is to go in store and get a feel for both laptops yourself, which is what I did. I chose the Dell because the construction is much more durable than the Samsung's. I have also read online that other customers have had experiences of the Samsung screens coming apart or the touch screen would crack because of their flimsy construction and warranty not covering the defect. I did not believe it at first but after seeing both laptops in store, it was clear the Dell was the best option for me. I am using this laptop strictly for school. I would not recommend this laptop for "gaming". It does tend to get hot, and the fans will go crazy at times. I noticed it is mostly when I have Google Chrome open, so I have opted to use Edge. The only real problem I have with this is the "caps lock" key light tends to bug out and stay on, even if I tap it off the light stays on. To get it to turn off I have to restart the laptop. Nothing crazy but kinda annoying. Overall, I would recommend this laptop if it is on sale, for school/work, and you do not mind the caps lock key being weird.
