I've used this laptop for some time now and I must say I'm pretty impressed by its performance. I was also surprised to see that it has the same overall size as my sister's Dell Inspiron 13 5000 laptop, but with a bigger screen. And it comes with a built-in cover for the webcam so that's a good bonus if you're paranoid about being spied on :P However, I have noticed some issues that might be worth considering before buying: 1. It. Runs. Hot. If you're planning to use it on your lap for an extended period of time, you might want to reconsider. It does stay cool if you only use it for simple tasks like reading though. 2. It's fan is quite noisy. I found this surprising because all of my previous laptops have been a lot quieter. 3. Battery life is good, but not great. I usually get about 6 hours of usage when it's fully charged. If you plan to use it on-the-go most of the time, you'll find other laptops with much better battery life at this price point. 4. I'm not sure if it's a glitch, but I can't wake it up from sleep mode. It usually just blacks out when I turn it back on, so I have to force it to shut down and reboot. I usually hibernate my laptop though, so this isn't too much of a problem for me personally. Overall, I don't regret buying it. It's more than capable of handling every day tasks.

Very nice laptop , the screen resolution is very nice and the size is just right , not too big and not too small , the SSD drive makes it load very fast.

Got this for my 11 year old Daughter for distant learning and she loves it. Easy to use and the flip feature is great for her to go from school mode to just watching Hulu or Netflix

I love that I am able to turn my laptop into a tablet to view notes and powerpoints. It really comes in handy being a science major.

Needed a wireless mouse for easy and fast moving across the screen. Will run out of power if not plugged in.

This is a very nice laptop that is packed with power. I upgraded it to Windows 10 Pro and couldn't be happier. Very light in weight but heavy in performance. Love it.

Happy with the Size and quality of this Dell laptop

Terrible. I have been working with Dell to solve the issue with it attempting to run Zoom for months. I sound like a robot to everyone else and my screen flickers and turns off when I attempt to use Zoom or multiple programs at a time like Word and Chrome. My drivers are updated, all applications updated, multiple settings tested and applied by Dell Support to try and fix it. Nobody can figure it out. It is useless for any higher demand work. The pointer on the mouse and letters sometimes blur out. It seems uncapable of multitasking or running higher demand programs like Zoom.

It's been over a year and so far the battery health is great and everything is going smoothly

The laptop was used only a few times and it literally died. Not satisfied at all. This is the first time that I've bought something at Best Buy and it ended up to be a "Worst Buy". I am really surprised. Hope it was only a lemon in the stock.
