This is the first actual Dell laptop that I have ever owned. The reason I wanted this laptop is because I was looking for something portable, powerful, and somewhat affordable. I believe this laptop for the most part checks all those boxes. Design I would first like to talk about the unboxing experience. It did not have a fancy box with a bunch of stuff inside of it. Instead, it was shipped in the packaging box which was discrete. Inside was the laptop, charger, and a few documents. Although it was kind of boring packaging it was easy to unbox. The reason I mentioned the packaging being discrete is because multiple times I have had laptops let on my porch with pictures of what is inside. The laptop itself is built of a nice metal body construction which does have some heft to it. I would say it is on the heavier side for laptops of its size but it also feels extremely well built. The 14 in screen is the perfect size to me for both productivity and portability. With a high resolution the screen looks beautiful and text looks crisp. The touch screen and flip around design allow for this to be used both as a laptop or a tablet. The keyboard and trackpad are not bad by any means but the travel on both was a little less than I prefer. They work great and give good feedback but they just felt a little weird at first although I quickly got used to it. As far as ports this laptop comes with everything you need such as USB-C, USB-A, SD card, and HDMI. I like that a standard USB port was included for some of those older accessories that way I do not have to use a dongle. The laptop charges via a USB-C charger. This is nice because you can use many different chargers and battery packs. But it is also a downside because it ties up one of your USB-C ports. Charging should not be a problem because the battery life will last through many hours of use depending on what you are using it for. Due to many people doing more things from home now Webcams have become a necessity. Dell has put a high-resolution webcam that will make all video calls crisp and clear. One of my favorite features of the webcam is the built in cover that you can easily slide over to ensure privacy when you are not using it. Performance/Upgradability The specs on this laptop are on the high end side for productivity but not quite on par with the highest performance laptops which is to be expected. I love that Dell has included 16 gbs of RAM because I think this is becoming the minimum necessary to do most tasks now a days. The latest Intel i7 chip offers both great performance and battery life. This laptop can do any of your basic tasks with no problem. Watching movies, surfing the internet, checking emails are a breeze. I believe the laptop is less suited for high end video games, video/photo editing. Although it can do some of those things it might not be the best for it. I always like to mention upgradability because technology changes so fast that it can be important. Unfortunately, being such a small package there is not much you can upgrade on this laptop. That being said I believe the components that it comes with will be good enough to last for years to come. Conclusion If you are student, small business, or just someone looking for a portable and productive laptop then I think this would be a great choice. I believe that it is constructed extremely well and can stand up to daily use and the components will last a long time even in a continuously changing environment. If I had to mention one downside it is that Dell has included McAfee anti-virus software pre-programmed on it. However, it is easily to uninstall. I would have preferred to be given the option to download it rather than it already come pre-installed. Other than that this is a great laptop and highly recommended.

So far this laptop is working well and meets all my needs. I like the backlit keyboard, the video is good quality, and speed is good too.

Good light weight laptop for work. Glitches at times even though its new if many apps and internet sites are open which resolves after rebooting.

It works very well and meet my needs for take noting , it does not come with stylus you should bye your self. It is affordable and works both as laptop and tablet, when it is in tablet mode it is a little bit slow and confused. Finger print also is slow sometimes.
