This was a Christmas gift which my Daughter has enjoyed the new laptop. I enjoy the purchase options Best Buy offers. Best Buy is easy to do business with and if I ever have a problem it is handled quickly and to my satisfaction.

I bought this laptop for engineering school, and it has been amazing for me. I love the fester where I can write on it with a stylus to take notes. It’s been great overall, much better than my old MacBook Air. I’ve had no difficulty downloading programs at all

I bought this with for my Data Science study, and it's doing a good job so far. Except that the audio drivers in this model of Dell are a little messed up, rarely they do malfunction and I have to restart my laptop to get them back to working. Other than that, the performance is very impressive.

I was excited to buy this laptop, but I have lost count of the number of times it has had a blue screen error in the few months I have owned it. Every time I am using it, I feel so nervous.

This Dell Inspiron 14” 2-in1 laptop is beautifully finished in Platinum Silver with a great solid build quality. The hinges are sturdy and solid allowing the laptop to be folded. This allows it to be folded flat as a tablet, in a “tent” orientation on a desk, and as a regular laptop. The hinges also force the back of the laptop “up” in regular laptop mode. This allows for a better keyboard presentation as well as allowing better air circulation for cooling. By the way, the laptop runs cool and is very quiet in regular use. Charging is done with a USB-C brick style charger with a long cord. Either USB-C port can be used for charging the laptop. There is also a regular USB-A port available too as well as an HDMI and headphone jack. The keyboard is grey with 2 levels of backlighting. The keys have a short quiet travel and offer a good quality feel for typing in most situations. The backlighting offers a good contrast for seeing the keys in dark surroundings. The track pad is large and offers great response. Multi-touch and gestures work great. The “click” of the track pad is OK but a more positive click feeling would be welcome. The screen is beautiful. It has a shiny finish, yet fingerprints and smudges don’t seem to build up like some touch screens. The touch screen works great and it is nice to have that option. In folded “tablet” mode the regular keyboard is non functional so those keys are locked out as to not make crazy characters imputed as you hold the device. Instead you have the option to use a virtual “on screen” keyboard for input. The screen resolution is not the typical 1920 X 1080 but instead is 1920 X 1200 giving this laptop a very sharp and crisp looking picture. Screen brightness is good and colors are good. The only negative was with the “My Dell” installed software. After its last update, the icon on the taskbar shows as a blank. It still works however. Hopefully the next update will solve that. This is a powerful system. The 13th Gen I7 is a 10 core processor made for mobile use giving better battery life. Coupled with 16 GB of DDR 5 ram and a 1 terabyte SSD storage makes for some pretty impressive specs. The end result is 7-8 hours of battery life, snappy screen changes, and a processor that can handle just about anything you want to run. The video card will limit big gaming even though the processor could. The large fast storage is ideal for storing pictures and videos along with lots of file space. Conclusion: This is a great laptop that offers loads of features along with impressive speed, processing, and storage. The price is also good considering what all you are getting. It works very well, it looks great, and it’s a nice size with good battery life. I have absolutely no reason not to recommend this laptop to anyone. It hits a lot of the check marks on most everyone’s list!

Size of laptop is nice and small for travel convenience. However, battery life is terrible! This does not last even a couple of hours.

Excellent computer and highly recommended. Love Dell they seem to hold up the best. Have had issues with multiple HPs in the past and the ones that have always been good are dells

I really like this new computer; however, the learning curve is great for me. I cannot figure out how to copy and paste. There must be an easy way, but I have yet to figure out how to do it.

A great computer which, I hope, will last for several years before I invest in another Dell. I have been fortunate to own several Dell computers that lasted nearly one decade each. Good job!

I do not like this laptop. I understanding I got a refurbished model, but the speakers are poor and glitches quite frequently. The touch screen is nice, but I didn't realize how much I don't like using a computer touchscreen until this model. The saving grace is the stats are relatively decent for a laptop.

Would not recommend. I’ve only had this laptop for 6 months and it’s broke already. I use it for school and I’m very gentle with it. The hinge on the laptop broke this morning. I’ve never dropped it and always use a case when I travel with it. This is my personal laptop so no outside people are using it. I’ve rarely even used it as a tablet. Apparently this is a common issue with this model. If you google “hinge broke on Inspiron” you will see many complaints. BTW HINGE DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY! so unless you want to send $200 fixing a laptop that’s almost $1000 in 6 months I would not buy.

i am happy with it. it is fast. i use it to sort out my photos.

There's nothing that I can complain about this laptop. It meets my expectations. Highly recommended. I always love Dell's products. Another good one.
