I can't sit with it on my lap as it is too hot. In 30 days it has 2x had the fan go on. The last time was within first 15 min. Even on a table top it gets too hot for surface. I tried to return it but told I only had 15 days to return. Hardly time to figure things out as I don't use it daily. I was told by Geek Squad it is "NORMAL" on new laptops to have it heat up like this. I was chastised as I had to small blanket on my lap to protect my lapt.
