    Windows 11 sucks. Some of my programs would not run on it. Bling is dormant and can not be wiped out w/o an act of Congress. Corell NO and Beats Headphones No are a couple of programs I bought for the Windows computer. Geek Squad. The tech said it is involved in removing windows and using just Google. Best Buy was great and gave me full credit. Never had a bad steer from a Geeker.

    I picked up this open box yesterday. It has a login from the previous buyer and won't let me create my own. There was no way to get administrator access. I took it back to the store, and they couldn't help. The store associate was a bit surprised and said it should have never happened. I finally have to return it. They promised to look for another piece, but I never heard back. I waited at the store for 1 hour and finally left disappointed. No t a bestbuy experience I expected

    Voice quality is poor

    It keeps telling me my voice quality is poor. I can’t get it to stop. I even called Zoom, but they didn’t have any solutions.

    Let's get this over with quickly - this notebook deserves every bit of 5 stars even with a few small "nits". It takes a lot for me to give 5 stars as it denotes perfection. But I do have to give this one a full five. Why? Let's begin: 1) The performance is outstanding. The 13th generation i7 processor with 16GB Ram and a 1 TB SSD Hard Drive is fantastic and blows away my previous machine. 2) The form factor is also excellent. I love two in one hybrids and this doesn't disapoint. My previous hybrid was very light with a small form fitting membrane type keyboard. This cannot match the smaller size and weight of that machine, but the screen is two inches larger and the keyboard is better so this one wins. 3) The 1920x1200 touch screen is beautiful and is great stand alone. I do connect it to a larger monitor on my desk when I am not on the go, but I can use the the internal screen as a second monitor without taking up too much space on my desktop. The touch operation is also smooth and responsive. 4) The ports are adequate and probably standard now for this class. 2 Thunderbolts are good, but I would have liked to have had a second Type A USB 3.1 or even 3.2 (which is one of my small nits). I did purchase a fairly inexpensive Thunderbolt dock to use with my desktop periperhals however and it works great. I use a wired connection withit and is blazing fast. The WiFi 6E connection was also very good throughout my house - even though the signal strength at times was not great, it still worked quickly. 5) The other small nit is the SD card. I tried a few cards in it and they were very tight. Worse is that the SD card sticks "out" of the side of the machine. I will not like traveling with one inserted. I can't understand why Dell chose to use this instead of a micro SD card which could be inserted flush with the side of the machine so as to not portrude out. Also, while I did not quantitatively measure the performance of the SD card operation, it seemed a bit slow compared to my other machines. CONCLUSION: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

    The audio on the laptop is horrible. It constantly goes in and out. Sometimes the sound will play just depends on the day. Definitely will stock with HP.

    Frustrated Customer

    Bought this item, Feb. 26th this year, used it abroad for a few months by a junior college student, have to shipped back for repairs, twice. Temporarily usable after each repair/parts replacement. Now it’s broken again, so frustrating. We just wasted so much money on a crappy product.

    Sales associate was exceptional. I insisted on trying writing on the 2 in 1 Dell before making that size purchase and he made it happen. A Dell on the other hand gets a -D at best since the battery died after 2 days. They get a D minus because they did repair it on site.

    I have to say, I love this little laptop! I got it to replace an older laptop I had that uses a different operating system. I have to say I am very glad I made the switch. Even though the screen size on my older laptop is .4 inches bigger, this laptop feels so much smaller and lighter than that one. Out of the box there isn’t much to it. You basically just get the laptop and the charging cable. No other bells or whistles. The laptop itself is very small and compact, but when looking at the screen it doesn’t feel like its small. That’s thanks to the very small bezels on the screen. Theres literally only ¼” on each side of the screen and a little more on top to accommodate the camera. Speaking of the screen, it has beautiful, vibrant color. Also, when using it as a touchscreen in tablet mode I found it to be very responsive and I love that it doesn’t show a lot of fingerprints. I have had some where you had to constantly clean the screen because of all the fingerprints. You won’t have that with this laptop. Under the hood you have lots of power. Intel Core i7 processor along with 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD makes this a very fast and responsive machine capable of doing most tasks. The only thing this laptop is slightly lacking in is the graphics processor. Its great for most things, but if you wanted to do gaming or other graphics intensive things, they might not work so well. But that is the case with most laptops unless you buy ones that are specifically targeted towards gamers. Doing day to day office tasks, watching videos, editing photos and videos and things like that you will be able to do quickly and with ease. It also works great in tablet mode. You can just fold the screen back and use it as you would any tablet, so that’s one less device you will have to carry around. If you don’t fold it all the way closed it makes like a triangle and its like it has its own built-in stand too! The only small problem with this is that the speakers are on wither side of the keyboard, so when you fold it into tablet mode, the speakers are on the back so if you set it on your lap, it can muffle the speakers. For ports you get 2 USB-C ports (also charging ports), a full size HDMI and a full size USB. There is also a SD card reader and a headphone jack. Would be nice to have a couple USB-C ports, but that’s a minor gripe. Overall, this is a very solid laptop that would be great for school, home, or office use. Its ultra-light and small and ultra-portable. I highly recommend it if you are in the market for a new laptop!

    New Laptop Speakers and Camera Not Working

    I bought this new laptop for my brother 3 days ago and the speakers don’t work and the camera also doesn’t work… He needs the camera on for his zoom class and his teacher is screaming at him because his camera is not working. This is a brand new laptop and there’s already so many problems. I’ve never had this many issues with a laptop before.

    Just No, Lemon

    Best Buy charging for faulty laptop under warranty

    The computer won’t boot after presenting a ‘can’t read memory error’ after not even one year. It is under manufacturing warranty so I brought it back to Best Buy for under warranty repair and they asked me for $180 for diagnostic and data back up. Stay away from Dell and Best Buy!!!!

    Disappointed with the quality of dell inspiron! Issue started Just after year (1 year warranty completed) Issue with WiFi… all devices are connected and working fine except 2 Dell Inspiron laptops!

    My mouse disappeared and I can not get it to come back. No clicking for me!

    Great value, high end specs, some compromises

    This is a very nice computer. Specs are very impressive for the price. However, there are some compromises: - No facial identification with Windows Hello - Speakers are weak and tinny - Display only develops 250 nits - There is substantial light bleed (on my unit) I can live with most of these compromises, due to: - The fingerprint ID is swift and reliable - I don’t expect computer speakers to be good for listening to music anyway - The display appears beautiful in standard light, even in sunlight - I only can see the backlight bleed in a dark room during start-up Also, there are several very good features about this computer! - The keyboard is excellent! Love typing on this thing! - Trackpad is good - Charging is quick (I have not tested the battery duration rigorously, but it seems to last at least 7 hours under light to moderate use) - 14 inches is a good size, and 3 lbs a reasonable weight, for a portable, all-purpose business and personal computer I think this would be a very good computer for students, creative types, and businesspeople. Just bear in mind that even though there are top-end specs, some features are missing or less well represented. This computer is a very good value, and I am using it as my daily driver for now.
