My son purchased the laptop for college. He started setting up everything from security protection to office suite. Everything is working great. The color and screen is bright and clear when watch movies or playing games. Plus the purchase price at bestbuy was the lowest around for these features and spec.

This computer is perfect for any college student. The large screen and its ability to fold flat and become a tablet really comes in handy. It’s the best laptop for the price and you can’t beat the features. If you’re looking for a laptop to help you in your educational career, this is the one.

I was hesitant to purchase the solid state drive - was it worth the extra money. The answer - YES! Each time I went back to Best Buy, I would talk with a different sales person - all were very helpful and informative. I left with the computer I wanted....and didn't have second thoughts at all!

I originally bought a similar Dell with a solid state drive with 8GB of ram but the HD was too small. It's a trade off and this was a good choice. I can't say I'm in love with it but until I can afford my dream MAC this will do just fine. I dig the light up keyboard and it runs great.

This laptop is great. It starts up quickly and does everything the average student would want.

The boot time on this laptop is under 15 seconds, which is much better than the minute or two I was used to on my old laptop. Everything runs very fast, I tried to bog it down running several programs and downloads at once but it handles it excellently. Very happy with this purchase!

This laptop is fast and efficient- very good for the price! The only problem I've found is that the corners of the laptop have some funky color to them when brightness is up all the way. Wouldn't notice often, but with a dark background or watching movies it's noticeable.

Dell has done it again! Easy, intuitive so we were up and running within 20 minutes. Highly recommend! Suggestion for Best Buy to make the virus wear number easier to get off as we almost couldn't use the code after pulling it off the packaging because it was glued.

I love the convenience of switching from laptop to tablet and the touch screen was/is a must for me. the brightness did not change when unplugging from the outlet. This is my favorite laptop I've bought to date. Referred 2 friends who loved it too and will probably buy.

Good quality laptop for light work duty or school work. Plenty of speed for just about anything short of gaming. Only negative is the built in speakers. They aren't very loud & the sound is distorted.

I have been using Toshibas for years and this is my first Dell. Other than it is more streamlined in size, most things are similar. I'm still trying to get used to the things that are different. I will enjoy the longer battery life that this one provides me.

I have several Dell computers. This one in particular was a gift for my sister: she is a graphic designer and the laptop has the power enough to run programs like photoshop or illustrator like a charm. Fast solid drive, enough ram. Go for it!

my friend needed a new computer and printer. she was very happy with the way the keyboard felt and once I got it installed and running she loved this computer. She is not at all tech savvy but found this computer easy to use which is saying a lot believe me/.

Have 13” and 15 “ one personal and one for business. Very sturdy and reliable.

Seams to work fine, it boots up quickly and has a lot of features that was lacking on my old laptop. I had one issue where it locked up and I had to take back to the store to be resolved by the Geek Squad. It has been working fine for the last month.
