This Dell 2 in 1 is an outstanding PC. We use it as a laptop, with the keyboard folded underneath and wireless mouse and keyboard for interface. The screen is close enough to use as a touchscreen with the keyboard folded (unlike our old laptop). The 17" screen size is outstanding with excellent resolution. The price was high for a laptop, but, all in all, worth the cost. I bought it as a Christmas present for my wife, and she loves it.

Overall I really like this laptop! I think my only drawbacks have to do with how ALL computers are now functioning. I don't like how the set-up wants you to log in with a picture of your face. It's weird! And I have had some issues with the computer freezing up in Excel quite often. But I don't blame the laptop, I blame the operating system and/or Microsoft. The touch screen is a nice feature that I didn't expect to like, but do!

I've had Dell laptops and desktops for years so this was one of my first choices. My other 17" laptop did not have the graphics capability to handle video editing. This laptop works like a charm! It processes any of my applications with ease with the Intel core i7; the graphics are awesome; I love the backlit keyboard and touch screen! Can't say enough good about it - even the Win 10 wasn't an issue for me.

Upon purchasing the laptop I continuously experienced my files "not responding" when ai tried to save them. I was told by geek dquad that this is somewhat normal bc although it is a fast laptop, it has moving parts and the drive can lock up at times. For the very very simple excel spreadsheet i was working on - and the fact that i did not have a bunch of other applications open, this was unacceptable to me, so i returned it

Really good laptop! I use it for gaming and for other uses and it y tu ns it just fine! I run Skyrim, League, SC2 and they all run just fine. Only thing is that it isn't too big so it heats up really fast so just be careful. To solve that problem I got a cooling pad with fans to help cool it down. It works but not as much as I'd like for it to. Overall, really good laptop!

This is an overall really nice computer. I like the graphics, speed and the numerical settings on the right hand side. What I find kind of weird is that there isn't any disc drive. I really didn't notice until I got home and had to download some items. I'm not sure if i like this or not. I guess I should've checked it out more before I left the store. I'll have to find out if this is the future of all Laptops.

In a nut shell, I sent Dell this laptop in the packaging they sent me to replace hard drive that crashed. They called me and said the display was broken and it was my responsibility to pay to fix it. It was fine when I sent it to Dell! I'll never buy a Dell product again!!!!! TERRIBLE DELL TECH SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having had a desk top and a tablet but in need of new ones, this laptop is like the best of both worlds. Very user friendly and adaptable to both devices. I needed a larger screen so I'm not as apt to use it as a tablet but the touchscreen capability makes usage as practical as if I were using my tablet. The speed is great. The amount of memory for all the programs I use is phenomenal. I would highly recommend it.

It runs games really well and the battery life is decent. It's great for surfing the web and watching videos. Just note that, tablet form is like holding a tv. However, it can be really slow restarting and booting up. It gets really annoying. Also, my keys get stuck often and I'll have to put some pressure on it to fix it. This is troublesome while playing a game or surfing the web.

RonDawg312 - Thanks for your honest review of your new 2-in-1 device. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing some slowness at startup with your device. We'd recommend following these tips to help speed up your device:
      Delete temporary files and directories
      1. Click Start, then in the search bar type "disk". Disk Cleanup should appear on the menu above the search box.
      2. Run disk cleanup and eliminate unneeded temporary files (Search results, Internet Cache and other windows temp files you may no longer need)
      3. Select files you want to delete then click OK to start the cleanup process. Uninstall applications you no longer use 1. Open the Programs and Features application in Control Panel. 2. Scan the list of applications installed for ones that you no longer use. 3. Highlight any application you no longer use and then click the uninstall button at the top of the list. Follow the prompts to uninstall.
      4. Repeat for each application you want to uninstall.
      5. Move large files and/or seldom used files to backup media (Photos, Music you seldom listen to, application downloads after the application has been installed etc.).
      6. Empty the Recycle Bin.

It's a pretty nice laptop. It's touch screen and can be flipped as well and not to mention big screen. My only complain is that it's somewhat slow. I bought it for graphics so I told them I wanted something that would handle photoshop and illustrator and all that junk. They recommended this and after 2 days I was having issues with having to restart my computer cause it was somewhat slow. I was so disappointed.

I've been using this laptop for a month or so. I have found my Dell Inspiron to be robust and fast. I use this laptop for general web browsing, email, producing documents and for photo and video editing. It runs my video editing software (Pinnacle Studio 20 Ultimate) quite well. I'm not a gamer nor do I watch much video other than some Youtube stuff, but for what I do use it, I'm pleased with its performance.

I actually bought this for my 92 year old father who wanted internet access. I selected this one because of the easy to use keyboard. I have used it quite a bit myself and was very pleased with it once all the updates were installed. I also use Chrome and found that it definitely conflicted with Microsoft so chose to go just with Edge for my father. Once I set up it up with all Microsoft programs it worked seamlessly.

We bought this 2 in 1 for my wife because she wanted the 17" screen for schoolwork. The screen folding all the way flat when used as a laptop has the added bonus of not having a hinge to break if the kids pull it down from behind the screen which had been an issue with our prior computer. The speed is ok but I would really prefer an SSD. Choices are limited in this screen size so overall it is still a solid computer.

With my aging Dell on it's last leg I decided it was time to start looking for a new machine. My basic needs where decent the ability to do some light video and photo processing. Stream media to my TV and faster throughput for wireless then my current computer. This hit all those check marks, along with touch screen\tablet abilities and extra processing power as a cherry on top. Thus far I couldn't be happier

Though the laptop looks great but it has only one CPU which makes the initial loading and overall performance very slow. Also, the wifi disconnects frequently. The tablet mode is by default locked and we thought the feature was not working. However, on research we went to the action center and enabled it. The battery drains out quickly as well. Overall, for a $1050 laptop, Dell should have thought better.

I like that you have the option to use it as a tablet or lap top & split screen. Although i am having a problem with the slowness of lap top especially when there are updates i can't figure out what's going on as i have high speed internet. Other people in the home using their laptops or other devices have no problem speed is fast. I would recommend if this problem is fixed i have yet to see. Otherwise i like it.

I love everything about this laptop so far, except the time it takes to boot up. I was told it had the latest in quad-core processors and was FAST. I find it to be disappointing. Granted, I may be spoiled by my trading laptop ordered from a specialty builder, but that machine is over a year old and beats my Dell hands down. I do like the touchscreen feature - don't always have to use the keyboard or mouse.

I got this computer 2 months ago and literally used it 2 times. It freezes, its very slow and takes forever to turn on. I took it back to the store and they wanted to charge me $500 to check it. Its bran new it shouldn't have any issues. I am so so disappointed at this product and at the employees who wanted to get more money out of me.

When my old Dell tower died, decided topurchase a laptop. This is a wireless machine. Almost everything I hadwith the tower was built in. This requires severl peripherals, for instanc e to load any additional programs I need a CD player to hook on. Setting up a wireless HP printer caused all sorts of problems. I have still not mastered the art of typing on a reduced size keyboard, especially with this layout.

Bought this based on some awesome specs. First night the screen started blacking out. We returned it for another, thinking it might be a one-off for a computer of this "higher end". Second computer not only started blacking out a few days later, the sound of a video would start in and then fade out. Waste of money and time. Went with an HP and a few weeks later it's doing way better than this crapper ever did.
