    I have always owned dells. I ve been a dell customer since I can remember buying computers in 1993, maybe earlier. BUT, this one, Oh My Goodness, what is that noise. It sounded like an FM radio that was not perfectly tuned and you hear that "snow" sound. It had to go back - so sorry Dell!

    Brand new laptop I purchased for work crashed within a month and a half. Now I have to figure out how to work without a computer for 2 weeks while it is being repaired. Really no words for how ridiculous this situation is or how Dell has been so nonchalant about it.

      1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
      2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software.
      3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly.
      4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.

    I can't really speak for all Starlords, but the one I purchased was defective right out of the box. It seemed to have a bad hard drive or bad memory module. It constantly would lock up. I returned it the next day and got a Samsung Spin 7.

    Laptop didn’t work out of the box. Would not connect to the Internet. Indicated there was no memory left. Did not return to store until after 15 days and they declined it to fix the problem. Very dissatisfied with service and product

    Take too long to start up, load programs, continue to freeze up with a not responding error message on simple word and excel documents. Best Buy offered little assistance, referred me to Dell.

    Bought alittle over a year ago. Slowest computer I’ve ever owned. Constantly freezes up, even with no other programs open. I bought the HP equivalent and couldn’t be happier. Do not buy a dell!!!!

    Problems with the keyboard

    The keyboard would not work correctly when we received the laptop. We called Dell and ending up having to send it back twice before it was fixed correctly. Dell was very difficult to work with. Disappointed.

    This laptop has blue screened too many times in its short little life. It runs slow and bogs down just playing candy crush. Do not buy this piece of junk.

    The laptop only worked for 7 days! Dell had me send it to them for repair. Dell said the laptop motherboard was bad and they could not repair the computer. Dell is sending me a new laptop to replace it.

    Update on my computer. Did not work after 3 weeks. Best buy returned to Dell for New Hard Drive. (Was told this never happens) Got back started to use and shut off. Will not turn on.

    This computer is soooooo slow. I didn't use it until a little over a month after purchasing. My fault :(would have certainly taken it back if I knew how bad it was going to be.

      Hey Rowdyfaninga, Thanks for your recent Dell 2-in-1 purchase. We're sorry to hear that your computer is not running as fast as you hoped it would. We'd suggest the following steps to help speed up your computer:
      Delete temporary files and directories
      1. Click Start, then in the search bar type "disk". Disk Cleanup should appear on the menu above the search box.
      2. Run disk cleanup and eliminate unneeded temporary files (Search results, Internet Cache and other windows temp files you may no longer need)
      3. Select files you want to delete then click OK to start the cleanup process. Uninstall applications you no longer use 1. Open the Programs and Features application in Control Panel. 2. Scan the list of applications installed for ones that you no longer use. 3. Highlight any application you no longer use and then click the uninstall button at the top of the list. Follow the prompts to uninstall.
      4. Repeat for each application you want to uninstall.
      5. Move large files and/or seldom used files to backup media (Photos, Music you seldom listen to, application downloads after the application has been installed etc.).
      6. Empty the Recycle Bin.

    I had it less than a week. When restarting after update it would not restart. 18 hours later when still not responding I took it back and got money back.
