I have a Dell printer that is about 8 years old and still prints great, so getting a Dell laptop was an easy decision. I would give the printer a 5 star rating, but this review is on the laptop, which (IMHO) can not even receive a 2 star rating. Laptop booted up slowly and performed slowly in the entire week that I had it. I have excellent web connection, and have never experienced these slow responses before. The final straw came when the laptop froze for the 3rd time, and the start button (in lower left) would not work. I had to do a hard shut down twice before the start button would work. As I had already put a lot of hours into bringing this computer up, I did not want to have to return it. However, research told me that when a computer stops the windows icon from working once, it will continue to do it. I was able to confirm that information with the Geek Squad as well. Therefore, I took my laptop back and got another name brand laptop. I have never experienced this freeze with this new laptop, and am happy I made that decision. In fact, I noticed the difference in performance speed immediately between the two laptops. I do have another new Dell all-in-one desktop, and it performs as expected. I know you can get a dud in any name brand, so I won't completely write off Dell products, but, this did put a big dent in my overall impression of Dell Laptops.

I was told by a Best Buy Employee this was a touch screen Desk Top.... Come to find out it is NOT. I tried many times to contact the store for I live far away and cannot travel back and forth to the store, but I only kept on getting transferred with no luck and no help. Very frustrating. Horrible costumer service. As far as the desktop goes, I would say it is decent, not sure if something is wrong with this one, but it is really slow. I guess knowing what I know now, I would of invested in a better one.

This is the worst computer that I've ever bought, and I've had several. I read all the specs online, read the reviews online and even visited the store twice and spoke to 2 different employees before I made this purchase. This computer is okay for surfing the web; but that's about it. I inserted my camera memory card that only had 64 pictures on it, it took 30 minutes for 10 pictures to load, I thought that there was a problem with my memory card so I inserted it into my laptop, they all came up immediately. Forget multi-tasking, forget watching a 30 second video clip ( the computer buffers the whole time) I have excellent internet signal the whole time. overall very dissatisfied with this quality of this computer. My 80 year old grandmother process data quicker than this horrible machine.

This computer was SLOW, cumbersome and just not worth purchasing. It will be out of date before you get home...actually, it probably already is out of date.

This computer is slow and an absolute annoyance... Let me explain: It is literally slow to boot up, slow to log in, slow to settle and allow any application to be opened. It is soooo slow! It's also constantly warning me about spyware and viruses. I suppose having an apple desktop prior to this purchase had me with high standards and expectations. Well, this desktop is no good, i would not recommend you to purchase it. I only got it because i needed something for school work. DON'T GET THIS COMPUTER, by all means get ANYTHING ELSE.

the system was slow right from the start. my old Pentium was faster than the A6. i thought programs in the back ground may be slowing system down but no, then the dell system down load including a bios update. well the computer never started back up after that update. the staff at BB was very helpful in giving me store credit back so i could get another computer.

I bought this computer for basic tasks and it's so slow even opening web browsers or performing simple operations like opening directories that I gave up on using it after a couple of days. I'm so disappointed with this purchase, I used this pc for a couple of days and now it's just part of the decoration

This machine is a lot slower than the 6 year old HP that it replaced. It also does not respond on some of my favorite software. I wish I had purchased another HP. My son talked me into this one. I am very unhappy with this machine.

First computer, hard drive crashed on second day. Replacement computer lasted 10 days. Returned and purchased an HP and having no problems.

I purchased this computer as an open box purchase to save money. Let me tell you it is not worth it, even for the reduced price, to purchase a computer as an out of box item. This computer worked for about 2 hours. As soon as it started updating the windows OS, a window came up stating the computer was unrepairable. I returned the item and got a refund. This problem was most likely caused by the previous owner shutting down the computer before the update was finished, corrupting the OS. What I don't understand is why this computer was resold and not sent back to the manufacturer for repair.

No customer service employed standing around not willing to help with questions was labeled as a touch screen but it is not

Don't buy this if you want to get anything done. The processor is outdated and not compatible with newer programs

It is quirky and slow. I had to disable wifi because it kept on using it as the default internet access method.

This thing didn't function. I called Dell tech support and they acted like it was no big deal. It is a HUGE deal. I decided it wasn't worth trying to fix a lemon, so I returned it and got an HP.

Out of the box the computer didn't have the best speed. My main problem with this computer is that every single day it disconnects from the wifi and in order to get it to work again I have to restart the computer. I thought it was my wifi at first and I switched to multiple providers later to find out I wasted my time and money. Best Buy did not want to return it or exchange it. So I am stuck with a computer that works 50% of the the time. I will be cancelling my Best Buy visa and will never shop at Best Buy again.

I've had nothing but trouble with this computer since I first bought it and I've spent months dealing with Dell tech support and it still doesn't work properly. It struggles with connecting to my router via wifi, it sometimes says there's no internet at all (although my roommates computer says there is) and it can't even find my 5G router. At first, it couldn't play DVDs and now it plays them at a very low quality. It frequently crashes, shuts itself down, and freezes even when I only have one program running. You can't even watch youtube videos at full screen. I'll try working in Photoshop or Illustrator and it crashes, loosing my projects entirely. Basically all this computer is good for is browsing the internet, and sometimes it can't even do that.

The biggest waste of money. Thought for the price I paid Id get a great computer. Within 6 months I had it cleaned and checked 2x it's soooooooo incredibly slow. At first I blamed it on not knowing how to use it therefore and I had to get the hang of its function. It's the biggest pile of junk I've bought yet. Never again will I buy a Dell. Customer service was absolutely awful, they wouldn't help me at all.
