I thought they still had it; I did find it and it took some time and I figured how to installed TODAY MY KEYBOARD IS NOT WORKING. WAITED.ON HOLD FOR CHAT 42 minutes......had to leave . Tried everything. Need help, Rebooted, tried different keyboard, checked driver........... Am not happy. Diane

    Screen malfunctioned after five weeks

This PC was good initially but just five weeks after my purchase the screen went white and had a flickering issue. I could not return the unit to Best Buy since I was 7 days passed the return period. So I had to send the unit to Dell for repair and was without the PC for two weeks. Dell replaced the motherboard and sent the unit back. But now the internal microphone does not work and I also had one instance where the touch screen feature was not functioning. I am hesitant to send the unit again back to Dell for repair since 1. I will be again without the PC for about two weeks 2. There is again no guarantee that the unit will be repaired So although I like Dell in general and had no problems with my previous Dell PC's, this one turned out to be a bad unit. Unfortunately I could not return the unit to Best Buy since the screen malfunction happened just 7 days after the 30-day return period ended. Bad luck.

      JackKrypton,

We're sorry to hear about the issues that you've had with your new computer. We'd recommend checking to make sure that your drivers are up to date and seeing if this helps with the microphone issue: https://dell.to/3eFfCmP.

If the flickering issue returns you can try these steps: https://dell.to/3dvnuYX.

Lastly, if you need to re-calibrate your touchscreen you can follow these steps:

      1. Restart the Computer and the Monitor
      2. Go to Control Panel and select Tablet PC Settings.
      3. Under Display tab, select Calibrate.
      4. Choose Pen or Touch input.
      5. Perform the point calibration that appears on the screen to correct the linearity problems.
      6. Save the calibrated data.

    Better than a laptop!

The Dell - Inspiron 23.8" Touch-Screen All-In-One - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD is a solid desktop PC. If being mobile is not an issue, it's much better than a laptop. The space needed on a desk is minimal, the visuals are great, the keyboard is even smaller than a conventional keyboard, the mouse is excellent, both of mine our white. It is fast and smaller than a traditional desktop. You can upgrade it to 32GB of memory by using two 16GB sticks, instead of the 8GB per slot in there now, if you wish to add more memory. The screen size is almost 24 inches, so again way more significant than any laptop. Setup could not get easier, plug it in, hit the on button, and you are done, plus push the doggle in for the mouse and keyboard, that is it. A 5-year-old could do it. Plus, it's a Dell, so you know the quality is spot on. I like it very much, and I am happy to have gotten it!

Dell - Inspiron 23.8" Touch-Screen All-In-One - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Silver My wife is a big fan of All-In-One computers. On several occasions I have tried to get her to go with a more conventional desktop or notebook but this is the format she likes. Her current All-In-One has become dated over the years, so the timing of this Dell was perfect. She has been doing a lot of video editing lately and her older computer was struggling. Well that’s not a problem with this Dell. With the 10th generation Intel i7 and M.2 SSD drive this computer is very fast. She went from a dual core processor to the new Intel i7 that has four cores with hyperthreading. A big upgrade from her three year old Intel i5. One nice change on this computer is the stand is open on the bottom which frees up desk space. This is a welcome addition since her desk has a hutch so desk space is a premium. With a very new Intel chip comes with some nice features such as a very nice selection of USB ports including the USB Type C. The wireless keyboard and mouse are really just of average quality that maybe just fine for most users but Dell could have done a little better. For the most part Dell has equipped this model very well. With the fast SSD, the most up to date USB ports, 16GBs of ram, SD Card reader and a nice sound bar. Although I was not impressed with the display. Its fine but not up to the other specifications you get. It’s not bad, it just doesn’t have the color pop that most people like, it's not a bad display but it’s not special either. The setup was typical of Windows 10 and was very quick with very little software bloat. The popup camera works very well and should support the Microsoft face login if you want but is otherwise hidden for security. Overall this is a very well designed package that also has both HDMI in and out connections. So although it's not a gaming computer you could connect it to a console or add a second monitor. This makes this All-In-One a good option for expansion which you don’t expect in this form factor. It’s been very quiet and we didn’t experience any problems with it going to sleep and coming right back up. This is expected and one of the features she uses since she never turns her computer off. Overall this is a very easy All-In-One to recommend and my past experience with Dell support has been very positive. There is a 27” display version of this computer that would make a great dorm room addition. This All-In-One is perfect for those that want a modern plug and play computer that should provide years of service.

Dell Inspiron All in One Positives: It has a 10th gen i7. It has a USB-C Port, which is more future-proof for new peripherals and allows for faster transfers. It has a solid state drive, which means faster load times. The speakers sound good. The screen is big and has a decent picture. The hardware is sleek in appearance. The hardware comes in one piece and is made of premium materials. I wouldn’t be embarrassed to have this in my living room. The device has a pop-up camera, which allows for privacy when not in use. Drawbacks: Based on the size of the device, i wish it had multiple USB-C ports. It has an integrated GPU and no practical way to upgrade to discrete GPU. Overall this unit provides a lot of value for the price.

A great Sous Chef for a busy life

I have always wanted a computer that I could use in the kitchen to make life simpler. Bringing your laptop or tablet with you every time you want to cook in the kitchen while streaming a movie, looking up recipes or listening to music has always been a drag. The Dell All-in-One has made all my issues go away. I wish we would have gotten one years ago. With Cortana and being a touch screen, I can get a lot more done as I am cooking than ever before. “Hey Cortana” what’s on my calendar? she looks it up and reads it back to me. Plays music finds recipes, it’s a built-in sous chef, I wish she would do the dishes. The specs are pretty good on most of the hardware, i7 processer at 2.3ghz, comes with 16gb of DDR4 Ram and a 512gb SSD, not a lot of space but with built-in wireless just hook it up to your Network and you can always save to an external drive on the network or save it to the cloud. The graphics are a bit sluggish, but it’s really not built for playing Pub G on. The one issue I have is that it not mountable. I wish they would have created the mounting plate on the back like they have for all of their monitors, I then could have used a tv mount and hung it on the wall so it would not take up counter-top space. I think the word of the day must be built-in, the Dell All-in-One also comes with a built-in sound bar, touch screen, hands free with Cortana. The built-in camera that hides in the case until you open it is a nice touch, no more concerns for what people see when they are spying on you. The wireless keyboard and mouse are easy to setup and use, but I have switched out the mouse for a tract ball to minimize counter space use. Video calling is a snap and managing your life, be it paying bills managing your day or creating a shopping list is convenient since we all spend most of our time in the kitchen area.
