Review for Dell - Inspiron 27" Touch screen All-In-One Desktop - 13th Gen Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD - White Verdict: Dell is back! What a great desktop computer. The Dell Inspiron 27” All-In-One Desktop sets the standard for a capable, stylish, and productive PC. It has a big screen with an efficient footprint. It provides the right performance for most power users at home and at the office, and at a great price point! It’s a very compelling package! It reminds me of the feeling I had when Dells started to dominate the PC market in the early 2000s. First impressions. Unpacking was very easy for a desktop PC. Packaging is frustration-free once you open the main box; no need for any tools or box cutters, everything comes out easy. The desktop computer is not very heavy, but it’s quite large… The screen size will boost productivity and enjoyment. Installation. When installing the two metal feet for the screen, don’t try to force them in. If they don’t slide in easily, switch them around. I initially tried to install them and they didn’t fit, so I moved the right one to the left, and the left one to the right, and it went in easily. The power cable has an LED on the plug-in tip to let you know that it has power; that’s a nice feature. Total physical setup was 5 min or less. Computer start up and setup was also straight forward, especially if you already have a Microsoft account. Setting up a new computer used to be a pain, but on this one, Windows offered to setup from the latest backup from another PC we own. I clicked yes, and it started to install apps and install my settings… awesome! Once setup, the computer automatically loaded the mouse and keyboard settings, and it gave me the option to customize the keyboard and mouse buttons! I didn’t even know that was a thing on non-gaming computers! I setup some hot keys on the keyboard to open two files I use most. Esthetics. This desktop has style… it’s elegant and sleek. I love the white theme for the keyboard, mouse, and computer, it looks great. The desktop is very size-efficient considering the 27” screen. The wireless mouse and wireless keyboard paired with the very space-efficient 27” screen maintains a small footprint, and the package looks beautiful, organized, and decluttered. The speaker extends the length of the bottom of the screen, and blends-in seamlessly with the rest of the desktop. The finish on the front and back is elegant, so this computer could really be anywhere, including an office front desk, store register, or a visible place in a home. The keyboard types nicely, and both the keyboard and mouse feel comfortable. The pop-up webcam can be hidden for privacy or to keep the computer looking great. General computer performance. With an Intel i7 processor, 1TB SSD drive, 16GB of RAM (two sticks of 8GB/each DDR4), and 2GB of dedicated NVIDIA graphics memory, this computer delivers plenty of power for any home or office tasks… open all the browser tabs you want and keep all those programs running! This computer can also handle graphics intensive programs… I have already spent a few hours on video editing on this PC and performance is good. Everything runs smooth and that screen is so big and beautiful! In a few months, I will probably swap out the two sticks of 8GB/each with two sticks of 16GB/each DDR4 to really get the most out of this computer. I haven’t tried gaming on it, but I am sure it could handle many popular games at high settings. The speakers are quite loud, and they sound clear with surround effects. User experience. Setting up and using this computer has been a very easy and enjoyable experience… from the easy synchronization from another computer backup, to facial recognition login (amazing!!!!), to the wireless peripherals and sleek looks. Dell has really thought through the design and leveraged Windows capabilities to maximize user experience. Things I love. - It looks elegant and sleek - It has a big screen but maintains a space-efficient footprint - The wireless peripherals declutter the desk and look great - The performance specs are great! Intel i7, 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and 2GB of dedicated graphics memory! - The 27” HD screen is wonderful! Whether used alone or paired with a second monitor, it increases productivity and efficiency significantly - The 27” screen can also be used as a second monitor apparently! I have not tried that feature yet but that’s nice to have - I love the pop-up webcam. I usually keep it hidden to ensure privacy, but I do use it daily and it works great - The speakers are quite nice - It has WiFi 6! Things I don’t love. - I don’t love that the only USB-C port is on the side of the screen. I understand the idea of putting a port on the side for easy access, that’s a great idea, but if it’s the only USB-C port and I need to keep something plugged in, now I have a cable permanently sticking out of the side of the screen. This doesn’t fit the sleek design of the package. - I think one USB-C port is not enough. One more USB-C in the back would allow an accessory to stay plugged-in, and then you could use the USB-C port on the side for convenient occasional use. Of note, there are four USB-A ports in the back, which is generous. Overall, this Dell All-In-One desktop is very compelling. Actually, more than that… I think it’s the perfect desktop package for most home and office usage. The form factor, style, power, user experience, and value make this desktop an easy decision. I most highly recommend this desktop if you are in the market to buy one.

After 11 years my laptop froze for the last time. I bought that laptop at Best Buy, and all of our families desktops and laptops too. The 27 inch screen on this Dell “all in one” is very nice. She looks great on my desk, moves fast and multi tasks, has excellent specs, and has a graphics card that makes music sound awesome. Know my wife wants one ♥️

I bought a Dell Inspiron 27" Touchscreen AIO about 2 years ago, and was so pleased with it that I bought a second for another family member, and now a third for another. Great combination of features at a very fair price. The touchscreen is very responsive and the performance is crisp. I use it for general business; I've never used it for games of anything more than light photo editing so I can't speak to intensive tasks. The design is attractive and there is a good selection of ports for my purposes. I've used Lenovo AIO machines before and like them as well, but this one provided the features I wanted at a better price.

I got a Dell all-in-one computer, and I really like it. The screen is big and clear, which makes watching videos and doing schoolwork easier. It runs fast and doesn’t take forever to load things. I also like that everything is built into one screen, so there aren’t a bunch of cords everywhere. Overall, it’s a great computer for school and everyday use.

This is a very nice all in one set up if you know its limitations. The 27” display is nice and bright. It has a webcam that supports Windows Hello. It is hidden above the display. Push down for it to rise up for use, and down again to stow it away. It comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard that comes with a USB receiver dongle. Don’t lose it. The batteries are also included. There are speakers at the bottom of the display. They aren’t great but it’s less things to have on your desk. It truly is an all in one design. It has wifi and bluetooth, but what’s great is it even has a 1GB ethernet port. I don’t like to use wireless networks and prefer to use ethernet. It’s pretty responsive. Although, I notice it use a lot of CPU resources as it was installing things from my Steam library. This has iGPU and discrete GPU which is NVIDIA MX550. This is enough to play the games from my Steam library. Aside from light gaming, this is more than enough to run Microsoft Office, photo editing, and basic video editing. Overall, I like this computer because it consolidates and cleans up my table. It only has one power cable, it has built-in speakers, webcam, and wireless peripherals. It simplifies my use compared to my previous desktop setup. It is pretty much silent. The Inspiron 27 (7720) comes with a laptop process and ram. This is due to its size, power consumption, and heat. It comes with an Intel i7-1355U processor. According to online docs, it has 10 cores and 12 threads. Two of the cores are performance cores that run at 1.7 GHz and turbo at 5GHz. The ram inside is 2x8GB for a total of 16GB. It has two slots and is not soldered. According to Intel docs, it can support up to 64GB. The ram sticks are Hynix HMAA1GS6CJR6N-XN which are DDR4 3200. It has a 1TB NVME (Western Digital SN740 according to device manager) drive 2230 size. I thought it would have another available NVME slot but it does not. However, it does have an available SATA port. I have an old Samsung hard drive I installed to play around with. This should support up to 9mm tall drives. The rear can be opened using a putty knife type tool. There are several clips holding it in place. It can be stubborn so be careful to not break the clips. There are no wires that connect to the back. Start from the bottom and work your way on the sides to the top. Be aware of the webcam hidden on top. You can access the available SATA port. You will have to remove the middle aluminum area if you want to gain access to the memory slots, NVME, and wifi module.

I received a Dell 17720-7135WHT-PUS. The new top of the line All in one from Dell. This model has 16gb of memory and a 10 core Intel i7 1335u with integrated Intel iris graphics and discrete Nvidia MX550 graphics with 2gb DDR6 memory. The system memory is 2 sticks of 8GB SK-Hynix DDR4 3200 for a totaL OF 16GB. The i7 1335u can run up to 5ghz at full boost. The boot up is fast due to the 1tb SSD. This computer has the chops to take most tasks with ease. Dell has outfitted this computer with a 1920 x 1080 (FHD) 10 point multi touch panel. I found the display bright and color reproduction excellent. Text readability is very good with sharp character edges. Dell has also implemented "Comfort view plus" that limits blue light to ease eye strain. The i7 and 16gb power through even the most resource intensive multitasking applications even with graphics. Some gaming is possible at FHD with the built in monitor. If you want to watch or edit 4k material you will need to use an external 4k monitor. For media consumption you can handle any streaming source. You can even use the computer display as a monitor using the HDMI in port with the computer powered off. Dell cleverly hid the camera and mic in a pop up module on the top bezel of the computer. This allows you to mechanically block the camera until you pop it up. The camera is Windows Hello compatible if you want to use face unlock. On the rear there are 4 USB ports, one HDMI in, one HDMI out port, one 1gb/s Ethernet port, an audio out port, a SD card slot and a power in port. There is one USB C 3.2 port on the right side. The USB C port is able to supply power as well. A convenient place if you need to charge your phone or earbuds. The power supply is a thin profile power brick with a long cord allowing flexibility in placement. WiFi is powered by an Intel it supports WiFi 6E and is dual band. The wireless mouse and keyboard with the excellent WiFi allow a very clean install, only the single power cord is needed. The monitor has thin borders with the all white motif. This computer looks great. The monitor supports attach to the rear of the monitor near the bottom offering great stability. The monitor also can be tilted and has no drift. There is no VESA mount available. For business or school this All in one is well built. Support from Dell and their built in update, support and optimization tools allow even the most novice computer user to keep the system humming. I do recommend running the dell assist tool to update all the drivers and firmware at first boot up. Windows update will also update most of these but not always all of them. This is a great all in one, I highly recommend it

I'm become partial to All-In-One computers as I like the clean lines on my desktop, less peripherals and cords hanging around, and the space savings that are standard in the AIO design. Enter the Dell Inspiron 27" AIO device. This sweet and capable device offers a substantial BANG for relatively little bucks in my opinion. Start off with some pretty good components (note that this machine is NOT built for gaming). The newer 13th Gen Core i5 processor scores well on my test program - which should allow you to create/stream/consume content with no restrictions. The system has16 GB RAM and a fast SSD drive to boot, the slowest components being the 2D and 3D graphics capability. As I said this is NOT a gaming machine. After setting the machine up, I noticed several positive items: The TV inspired display design is easy on the eyes even though it's a big 27" screen at close range. Color and clarity are great - crisp and sharp. Wifi connectivity was easy and solid with the Intel Wi-Fi 6E. The 5 in 1 card reader is a nice touch for those of us still using SLR cameras, drones or other devices with SD cards. A unique feature is that this AIO also works as a monitor (capable of becoming a 2nd display for another computer) without powering on the system by connecting to the HDMI in/out port. That's the first time I've seen that! Overall - this is a solid performing device that can help you clean up your space (keyboard parking underneath and cable management behind)!

Purchased a dell open box AIO. Although no box this has been a great purchase. I saved over $500 for this item from new price. So far I’m very pleased with the purchase. It’s just like a brand new one. Super fast, big screen and the best computer I’ve ever had. First AIO I’ve had and really like it. A nice compact package with 27” screen. No wires or cables except the power cord. Can easily be moved if needed and that’s a bonus. This may be the last computer I have to buy, a lot of storage capacity and all is very smooth and fast. Would highly recommend shopping the open box items and even travel to other stores thats not your local store to get what you want. You can save a lot of money.

The specs looked rock solid, and I was certainly enticed by the sale price. All of my expectations have been exceeded! This all-in-one system is much more than the sum of its parts; it is very fast and intuitive. Footprint on my wife's desk is small. When you sit down at her desk the excellent screen makes you think there is mych more stuff hiding somewhere, but it's all right there. This would be a goid deal at the full price, so getting it on sale was a genuine bonus. We are very pleased with our purchase! Dell continues to live up to its reputation!

I bought this desktop for my wife, who was using an old machine that finally called it a day. We like that this all-in-one is so compact yet capable. It has more processing power than we will ever need. The screen is very sharp and displays quality video. The setup was simple, we had it up and running in less than 30-minutes. Simple design, less wires, less footprint at our desk, a very capable desktop. What's not to like?

Much faster than my old computer. Still getting used to it. Would be nice if much clearer paperwork on basic set up, operation, and where to go for major information than the mickey mouse drawings that came with it. The keyboard and mouse work very well. The touch screen is nice but a little awkward to use set up on my desk. The stand, which allows the screen to be adjusted for viewing angle, is high enough to allow the keyboard to be moved under the computer to open up desk space for more space.
