I bought this all-in-one for my son to do his college assignments. He’s using it for design and programming. I like how slim the computer is. It fits nicely on a small desk in his room. It looks great in there too, as it is designed beautifully. It’s processor is fast and much more efficient than what he had before. He likes it, and I’m happy I got it for him.

A very capable computer that looks like a TV

This 27” Dell All-In-One is perfect for anyone that wants something bigger than a laptop but doesn’t want a gawky desktop while at the same time only has the space for a TV. Super simple to set up by plugging in, putting in batteries for the keyboard and mouse, plugging the USB dongle in and following the Microsoft Windows prompts through setup. You can use voice, touch screen or the mouse and keyboard and be up in running in a matter of minutes.
The Intel 11th Gen Intel Core i7, 16GB of RAM, 512 GB SSD and Intel Iris Xe graphics make this computer fully capable of everyday tasks, multitasking and some higher end functions. However, it isn’t going to be the best option for extensive video editing or demanding games, but I wouldn’t expect that of any all-in-one. Running a PC Mark 10 test, this still came in better than 48% of all other results, with a score of 4878.
The design is simple looking and I personally like the A frame design as it keeps the table footprint small and allows for a perfect place to leave the keyboard.I do find the screen to be a little to shiny, catching reflections very heavily and find the placement of the SD card slot to be in a really bad position. No idea why they thought reaching behind the device for something that is usually in and out for quick file exchanges was a good idea. I guess it is to give it even more of that TV style look. The image is crystal clear, sharp and vibrant as well.
As for TV style, there is a HDMI in port and the tiny button under the speaker, beside the tiny power button, allows you to switch the display. This is great for those that still need a TV for something like a gaming console or if you have a cable box. But, that button is something like one of those little reset buttons that you practically need a paperclip to push. There is also an HDMI out if you would like to expand your computer to another screen. Other ports also include a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C, three USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type A and a USB 2.0 port which is best used for the included wireless keyboard/mouse dongle. There is also a built in camera, for video calls or facial recognition, that hides so neatly that you might not even notice it is there if you didn’t look for it.
Overall, this is a very capable computer that is essentially a laptop, without a battery, inside a touch screen monitor.

a new year and another year Dell bring out their all in one touch Inspiron, a beautiful simplistic design, that pretty have everything your need for daily use, as long as you’re not expecting to game on this computer, I believe most casual PC user will have enjoy this product
Pros
- Dell seems to stick with the same design they got couple of years now, last time I checked this Inspiron was 2 years ago and it’s 2021 the design haven’t changed at bit, could be good thing to some.
- the package comes with white wireless keyboard and mice that totally complete the whole esthetic of the computer, both so requires AAA batteries.
- when Dell said “all in one” they wasn’t kidding, this computer pack with features, the computer comes with built in speakers, it can get loud enough to where you wouldn’t need a separate speaker for your setup.
- the screen monitor is fully functioning touch screen, is it responsive? well so far it hasn’t let me down, very responsive, very useful features to add for this great product
- this computer also come with built in camera that you have to press down on the top and the mechanism will bring up and press it down to close it, great features. camera might not be the best quality but it does the job. the quality looks quite like a 720p
- Dell Inspiron is also equip with Inter core i7, this is more than enough for this computer to be consistent to your web browsing need,
- at the back you have HDMI in, HDMI out, USB plugs and USB C plug, internet port, and SD car port as well, wow that’s a lot!
Cons
- the number one thing I quickly noticed about this Dell Inspiron was the whole design, like I said it’s also a Postive to some, but I also find this a negative thing about this computer, I feel they got lazy and never wanna look forward on ways they re touch this computer
- the computer have the ability to be tilted, and this particular one that I have, seems to have a tilting issues where it start going down and I end up re tilting the screen to hopefully I get the sweet spot so it won’t move.
- I hate how tiny the power button you can hardly spot it and feel it, maybe a new location for power button on the next version would help.
- another issue I experience using the HDMI to mirror my laptop, so I could use it on the bigger screen, no matter what I did, I just couldn’t get it going, I updated the driver making sure things are up to date, but after all that work, connecting another laptop to this computer was faulty
Dell inspiron is a great computer, having the ability to use touch screen is great, it looks clean, 27” inc screen is a sweet spot when it comes to computer monitor, was a bit disappointed on things i’ve noticed, but when it comes to performance the pc is a great combo to those individuals that’s looking for all in one computer setup.

This All-In-One Dell Inspiron 27" Touch screen houses Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 512GB Solid State Drive. This type of computer saves space when it is placed as it does not come with a tower which is really good and convenient for those who do not have enough space in their office desk just like me. Setup is a breeze. It features a very classy and modern design. The screen is full HD and is touchscreen-enabled with a minimalist frame with a retractable webcam to give some privacy when the camera is not needed. Hardware specs are high enough to run this computer fast and smooth even with multiple applications and programs open. I replaced my office computer which was HP all-in-one with this Dell and I can see the significant difference in terms of speed and system smoothness in addition to its stylish design. The touchscreen is fluid and has no delay at all which is great. The sound is awesome but not optimal. Equipped with wifi, Bluetooth, and a wide array of ports on the back including:
2 HDMI ports
4 USB type-A ports (two ports are 3.1 high speed- colored in blue)
1 USB 3.1 type-C
1 SD card reader
1 Ethernet port
1 3.5 Audio jack
Accessories: This package comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse and the two devices are connected via one Bluetooth dongle. My thoughts as an office user since this PC has a built-in video card, it is fantastic and performs fast at zero lag and I like the style in a very minimalist design. Great machine for productivity and entertainment. No complaint so far and the machine works just great at its peak performance.

nice all in one unit

If you are in the market for an all in one PC, this Dell might be the one for you. This Inspiron model features a 27" HD touch screen, a powerful Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of memory and most importantly a 512GB Solid State hard drive (SSD), which takes the place of a slower, old style spinning disk. With modern PCs the inclusion of an SSD drive improves performance immensely. The form factor is pretty cool, essentially it is a screen on a sturdy stand, the screen also swivels vertically, but not horizontally. If you like to add internal components to your PC this might not the type of unit for you. On the rear of the unit, there are three USB ports, two HDMI out ports, an audio out, a USB-C port, SD card slot and one ethernet port. Of course, the unit also come with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. One USB port is taken up when you plug in the supplied Dell receiver which wirelessly attaches both the keyboard and mouse.
As for the all-around computing package, using some benchmarking software I found the performance to be very good for most normal tasks. The processor is an Intel 11th generation i7-1165G7 CPU running at 2.80Ghz with four cores (eight logical processors), most of the other components also perform well (SSD, Memory). The video benchmarking leaves a little to be desired, the Intel Iris Graphics display maxes out at HD resolution 1920x1080 @ 60mhz, the video performance is good for general use, however it will struggle a bit in full resolution gaming. If you desire better video performance, I suggest you look at higher end models which include an NVIDIA video adapter. Regardless the touch screen is crisp and can be adjusted using the Windows built in controls. 4k resolution is a bit high of an expectation for this type of unit.
Dell does a good job with the setup experience and integrating it with Windows Cortana, the process is straightforward and easy. There is not much bloatware included other than a few annoying notifications from the trial version of the McAfee security suite and Dropbox. I was able to easily and seamlessly use my existing Office 365 subscription by logging into my office account.
Using the built in Dell utilities (specifically the SupportAssist feature) I was able to easily apply several driver and BIOS updates. These type of updates usually provide additional stability, but after applying them my benchmark utility saw slight improvements in disk, graphics, memory and CPU performance.
Overall, this is a competent, well-built unit which provides the convenience of an all in one. It actually is a bit portable (at least within the constraints of your house or apartment) so you can move it without much effort between rooms.
Pros:
- The “All in One” concept
- Nice large touch screen
- Well-built unit and integrated stand
- Dell quality utilities and support
- Good mainstream system performance for most use cases.
- strong processor
- inclusion of an SSD drive
Cons:
- expandability, do not get an “All in One” if you like upgrading or swapping out components
- not many, but if you do any type of video/photo editing or gaming you might seek a model with a better graphics adapter (GPU) and a higher resolution screen.

Good PC, just not for gaming

I have really enjoyed testing the Dell Inspiron 7700 All in One. It is just not for gaming or at least not for high end gaming with this particular model's default hardware. I downloaded Call of Duty Warzone and the game crashed on me several times. I am not a computer pro but, I know enough to get the most out of them. I went in and extended the virtual memory to allow the inferior graphics card ample space to work and still just could not keep the game going. That said, I like gaming and was disappointed that I will have to add aftermarket to the insides to get this PC to where I would like it to be.
I have a few other negative thoughts but aside from those this unit is an amazing computer. Out of the box the PC is ready to use with only having to unwrap it and plug in the power cord. The mouse and keyboard are very nice. The keyboard is a soft stroke keyboard, so I did already swap that out for an RGB cherry mechanical. The mouse is vanilla but also feels nice and the movement is smooth and clean. I have already swapped it out as well though to match my keyboard. My second gripe is with the factory offering and that this unit’s provided mouse and keyboard are both dongle driven and not Bluetooth. I think supplying a 5.1 Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to compliment the PC's ability to support 5.1 would have been a nice touch. The unit is sleek, stylish, and quite the attention getter with the infinity edge display. My next gripe is about the FHD. FHD is a fancy way of saying 1080p. We are moving towards an all in on 4k & 8k and I wish they would have at least made the monitor 4k (again this would have required a higher end graphics card and memory to support). I have zero issues with the sound. The beautiful sound bar underneath the unit will absolutely jam and will not disappoint. The 7700 sits on metal A-frame style thrust, that again play on the visual symmetries for the viewer. Whereas I genuinely admire the design I do wish the Inspiron was able to rise to a different height. When watching movies in bed, I must clear off my desk to see the screen clearly. The touch screen is nice but, I personally got tired of cleaning fingerprints off the screen and have made a house rule that no one is allowed to use the touchscreen on this AIO while it is in the bedroom. I get the advantages, but it is just not for me where it currently sits. Aside from gaming, I was unable to rattle the 7700. I ran multiple programs simultaneously (one of which was Adobe photo editor pro), while also streaming three movies, Netflix, and browsing social media without issues for hours. One of the most impressive aspects of the computer is the Hifi Wi-Fi. I am literally able to get two to three times faster than I pay for speed test results, Every time. I don't know how this works; all I know is that it does. This PC does come with McAfee preinstalled, but I will be removing once my thirty-day trial is over, I figure it is already installed so might as well use it. Lastly, the tuck away camera is cool, but the camera does not have a wow factor at 2.1 MP; my kids have toys with better. Again, it works and for a teams, google, or zoom meeting it does the job well enough especially since you should not have any internet issues resourcing off the internal booster.
To be clear, I really love the Inspiron 27" 7700 AIO Dell just left a bit on the table when they put the 7700 together. Out of the box this one is a crowd pleaser. We will most likely end up moving this one to the kitchen to use while we cook, clean, and just have family time in there. I think the Inspiron 7700 would work best as a media hub that we can also do homework on and Dell should really market it as such a device. There are some opportunities to improve next models. However, I will say confidently that if you can find this one at the right price (list is not the right price for the lacking aspects) and for the right computing needs, it is a solid win for any ones right needs.

High Performance, All-in-one, Quiet Desktop PC

I'll say up front I would recommend this machine if you are looking for a desktop PC that doesn't take much space (no "pc case" box) and is very quiet. The first feature I found and was thrilled about is that the camera only pops out when you want it to pop out (it clicks in or out when you push it, so if you're concerned about privacy you put it away and don't worry until you need it). Interestingly, the camera DOES work with Windows Hello facial recognition for login, and what that essentially means is it's easier to have login security and not think about it. When I first opened the box, I admit it took me a while to locate the power switch, turns out it's towards the bottom right under the speaker (a button). Conveniently, they included batteries for the (non-rechargeable) keyboard and mouse (I prefer non-rechargeable here, because a simple battery swap gets you full power when needed). The keyboard feels very comfortable to my fingers, it didn't take me any time at all to get used to typing on it. Because I already had a previous 32" non-touch-screen monitor, I was glad to see I could connect it on the HDMI port as a second screen, during set up, this was convenient because it allowed me to monitor my installs on the second screen while continuuing to use the PC normally on the main display. The display will tilt within a small range, which may also come in handy when adjusting the aim of the built-in camera. If you were hoping the display would rotate, it does not seem to do that but that was not entirely unexpected. The built in sound bar is perfect, if you set the volume on low it is like a quiet speaker, if you turn it louder it's a more full range sound (I used Tidal, a hifi service, to test the sound). Its support for WiFi 6 means I don't have to run an ethernet cable to it in order to get pretty much full speed network access. The last thing I wanted to check out was the graphics performance for games. At first the graphics performance was awful, but I realized I had a lot of background processes running from the new setup (plus may have downloaded updated drivers from windows update), so I rebooted and -- Wow, I'm getting smooth performance on the game I tested while set on "Very High" quality, which I believe is better than my previous desktop PC (with a $400 graphics card) was getting. I am truly impressed by the performance of the graphics and the system as a whole. DELL truly delivered a nice all-in-one machine for this price range.

Purchased because I'd been contemplating an All In One Style computer. This was both my first All in One and my first Dell. The computer is absolutely beautiful asthetically and the screen has a beautiful picture. The graphics are nice, the sound quality is pretty good, and it is a nice solid computer. The keyboard and mouse lack much to be desired, and I did experience issues with the wireless mouse typing erratically so that was a bummer but that has nothing to do with the computer itself. The Keyboard and mouse are both pretty cheap feeling for the Amazing design and quality of the pc itself. The only other complaint is that its not too easy to get to the usb aad hdmi ports as they are on the back bottom of the display, so it'd e nice if there were one or two toward the front for easier access or even hidden in a pop up compartment along the bottom, the same as the Camera is at top.

Exceeded my expectations. It’s been 6 years since I had upgraded my desktop. The only downside is that it doesn’t have a cd insert I had to buy a usb attachment and all the usb/sd ports are on the back of the computer and not on the side. So far, I have just a few days experience with the Dell Inspiron 7700 model, but it has been picture perfect thus far. The large screen has extreme visual acuity and wonderful glare resistance. The overall computer's operational speed is blindingly fast compared to my Core i7 laptop and makes all the difference in the world in terms of overall user satisfaction. No more thumb-twiddling or watching spinning electronic particles while the computer is "working". Even the sound and camera quality have been improved. What a machine!

Awesome computer, Very pretty design, sound was better than expected! Definitely worth my money, very content with the speed and ability to run various applications
However, It started making a noise (fan noise), like it was struggling to run, even during simple tasks, like watching YouTube videos. might sound like a petty complaint but I expected more from a computer with this specs. Very annoying background sound, makes me have to play music while doing homework/studying

I am pleased with the Dell Inspiron 27” Touchscreen All-In-One -Intel-Core i7 Computer because it is a large screen with wireless mouse and keyboard that is truly awesome. It is easy to navigate without becoming frustrated with a new updated system. Best Buy did all the updates and installed the security software and Microsoft Office. It was ready to plug in and set with our WiFi when we brought it home. That was a quick and easy task. My husband and I are seniors and we are very happy with this purchase.
