A Powerhouse in the AIO market!

The Dell - Inspiron 27" Touch screen All-In-One - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 512GB Solid State Drive - Silver is a powerhouse within the All-In-One PC market. Providing the power of the Intel Core i7 processes, 16GB of RAM, and a reasonable sized Solid State Drive of 516GB, this touch screen PC can do it all. The AIO offers a huge 27" touch screen that is responsive and precise. The minimal keyboard and mouse pair nicely with the silver/white coloration while offering a good user experience and feel. I found this AIO PC to be a perfect fit for my small computer desk space, while offering a huge display and performance of a bulky gaming computer. Putting this PC through the tests, I used in in high performance gaming - no lags or delays, I used it for word processing - perfect, I used it to download and stream content simultaneously - fast, and I even put it to the ultimate test of Crypto-mining - performed as well as any PC can in that harsh environment. PROS - DELL quality, performance, and warranty - Fast Intel processor, next-gen - Packed with 16GB of RAM - SSD hard drive brings performance to the next level - 27" HD Touchscreen - Built-in sound bar - Onboard camera and mic for Privacy and Security - 1 wire (power) for minimal clutter - Big computer, small footprint on your desktop CONS - White colored keyboard and mouse will likely get dirty/dingy over time and use.

      3. In the list, select a program and click Uninstall.

We are really enjoying the Dell AIO PC! The beautiful 27" screen is perfect for watching cartoons and the touchscreen display makes it so easy for my preschooler to navigate this system. It starts up super fast, and I love that! The speakers sound great when watching movies, and the huge screen makes it a great way to do just that! Productivity is on point as well, the latest Gen i7 does its job! With web browsers and Excel open it does not miss a beat. The screen has a nice tilt feature, when you are sitting up close it makes this machine much more functional. The only thing I wish it had was a Dedicated GPU, this is definitely not great for gaming.

      Hello SELL21,

Thank you for your feedback and response. We apologize for your experience and glad to learn that you were taken care of by the Geek Squad. We have provided steps below that can assist with your startup issues if needed in the future.

      1. If the computer is displaying the Dell logo and does not move past that point, it has probably failed POST.
      2. If the power indicator lights up and it is amber or orange, this is usually an indicator that it has failed POST.
      3. If you see text on a black screen, the computer is currently performing the POST. If the computer stays in that condition and does not move past it, it has probably failed POST.
      4. If the video screen displayed anything at all during the startup process but is now black, this probably indicates that the computer failed POST.
      5. If the computer is beeping or if Caps/Num/Scroll Locks are flashing, note if there is a particular pattern in which it beeps or flashes.
      6. If the computer is not beeping and caps/num/scroll locks are not flashing, unplug all connections and remove all media communication devices (e.g. external monitors); reconnect one at a time and check if the computer functions.
      7. For a notebook, press and hold the Fn key and then press the power button. This starts the pre-boot testing and will launch ePSA. In case you have a Desktop at the Dell logo screen tap the F12 key to enter One Time Boot Menu and use the arrow keys to highlight Diagnostics and press enter.

I’m not a fan of this computer. My email accounts has been hacked since I purchased it and I’ve never had that to happen before. Office is not included, so that is an extra expense. Also there is just a short period of virus protection. Sometimes I wish I just kept using my old laptop.

    Dell Inspiron 27" AIO

So I received my Dell Inspiron 27" AIO Desktop Computer a little over a week ago and have been putting it through its paces. I am beyond impressed with this computer. This computer is a beast in size and speed, all the while designed very sleek and elegant. Unpacking the box, you will find just 4 hardware pieces: the amazing 27" monitor (which houses everything to run the system), the power cord, wireless keyboard, and a wireless mouse. Batteries were included for both the mouse and the keyboard. Also in the box were just a couple quick start guides. Inside the monitor is the ever so quiet 512GB SSD along with 16GB of RAM. Although the monitor is only 1080P, it is massive and stunning. On the back of the monitor are several ports: HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, microSD card slot, and power cord port. On top of the monitor nicely tucked away is a video camera that pops out from the top in the middle; which is great for Zoom calls with friends and family. The included keyboard is very light and slender as well as the mouse. Although I didn't have any issues with the keyboard or mouse, something struck me as odd with the keyboard. Typically when using the numbered keypad on the right and you turn on the NumLock key (to lock the side numbered keypad in the on position) the light usually stays on. Well definitely not a dealbreaker, but for some reason, the light would come on but then turn right off after a few seconds. The same is true for the Caps Lock key. My only wish for the mouse would be that I wish it was a mouse with at flywheel. I've become used to using free moving flywheel mice over the last couple of years. That being said, with most keyboards and mice being wireless these days, you can easily swap out the keyboard and mouse that came with this amazing system for something of your choosing. One other thing I love about this monitor aside from its massive size and clarity is that it tilts backwards onto the stand. This made it a little easier for me to see the TV as I was working over the weekend. Performance wise, I will say that I know this isn't the fastest computer that's out there, however, it's the fastest that my household has ever used. It've very speedy and playing a few non-intensive games online proved that. The graphics were amazing and the colors seemed to just pop right off the screen, especially with the assistance of Dell's Cinema software that allows you to change your color settings to your liking. And as far as sound, the speakers are aligned at the bottom of the screen and they are loud. I had to keep the volume level below 80 to keep from disturbing others. However, I was able to fully test out the sound quality once I was home by myself and I must say it was superb. All in all I will say this computer is simply amazing. A couple of quirks here and there, but nothing that would change my mind.

The Dell Inspiron 27" Touch screen All-In-One Intel Core i7 with 16GB of memory and a 512GB solid state drive has been great to use! Unboxing this beautifully crafted all in one computer, I was greeted with minimal issues. It coimes with the PC, power adapter, and a white wireless mouse and keyboard set. I'll get to that later. The first thing I wanted see was the boot time, took 4-5 seconds! Once booted, it went straight to the desktop, ready to go basically. Iinstalled a few applications for my business I needed, then starting browsing the web, and watching online videos. No matter what I threw at it, nothing slowed it down. After that, I decicded to look at some free games to see how the IRIS onboard graphics card handled light gaming. I downloaded a FPS (First Person Shooter), and of course, it ran on the games max settings! I want to find a more intense game to try, but so far it's great. I honestly do not have any complaints, except for the mediocre wireless keyboard and mouse setup. I am grateful it was wireless, but the keyboard and mouse are not Dell's best they have to offer. I opted for a better set from Dell for my daily workflow, as the included ones are okay, but not for prolonged use. All in all, I can definitely recommend this all in one to anyone looking for that buisness power at home.

    Aesthetics and packaging an issue

If you care about the aesthetics of your PC then be mindful of the fact that the legs on this computer are painted silver and will scratch easily as did the one I received via UPS delivery. As soon as I opened the box and unwrapped the covering meant to protect the device, scratches on the right leg appeared front and center as was a scratch on the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Due to the bright white and silver color of this PC, scratches show! Furthermore, Dell had plastic tape attached to the screen to the camera which I thought was poor packaging; I guess it was meant to keep the camera from opening during transit. Nevertheless, I immediately returned the PC the exact day I received it and ended up spending ~$60 more for an HP All-in-One with more storage and a stand with a built-in phone charger. My local Best Buy was wonderful and quickly assisted with my return and HP purchase.
