I think some of these products should come when you buy the laptop. Other thsn thst i think it a good laptop for the price i got it at.

If you plan on doing any graphic design at all on it then you will be out of luck I was only able to run two Adobe graphic design programs out of a bunch Photoshop and Lightroom everything else either wouldn't work right or wouldn't download at all

Great General use Laptop!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Inspiron 3420 is perfect for a student, traveler, Blogger, General use for email and surfing type of person. The raised keyboard makes typing very easy, the Full HD IPS touch screen is bright, clear and crisp from any perspective. The Qualcomm Adreno 690 GPU is a perfect match for this very light weight, Fan less Laptop. The Snapdragon Octo-Core processor (3.15 GHz) can handle most general needs. The 256 GB Micron NVMe drive is a perfect fit and is very responsive. Boot up from a cold start takes less than 10 seconds. The size of the laptop (12.7 X 8.6 inches 3lbs ) makes this a perfect choice for the traveler, minimalist, or those constantly on the go and need a laptop. I took the Inspiron with me on a few short trips and was able to do my work without issue. I left my old anchor weight laptop at home. This laptop could be considered an entry level for the people who aren’t going to need extra horsepower to handle Audio/Visual/ media large files. As this unit only has an 8gb ram (not upgradable) and 256gb of storage. I would suggest using cloud based Storage or getting a USB drive for more. Additionally if you do not like taking a USB drive around there is Micro SD slot that can be utilized instead. The Unit has two USB-C slots and one full size USB 2.0 slot If you plan on loading anything that’s not available from the windows store (i.e. google apps) you will need to turn off the Windows S, which is simple to do and windows guides you on the steps. Took about 10 seconds to complete. The front facing camera does the job (.92 mega pixels) in all types of lighting, perfect for my zoom meetings. (The camera also has s flip switch cover to shut it off for privacy.) This laptop as previously stated is a great light weight general use laptop. I would recommend this to friends and family.

I told my husband to check Best Buy and sure enough Best Buy had the better price. I was able too o pick it up the day of her birthday with no issues.

It lacks some basic function that I was expecting. It is not accepting flash drive and it is too simple for my likeness.
