This laptop is the best I have owned . Fast , sleek, and powerful.

I have absolutely 0 zilch complaints about this laptop. Fron functionality, storage, speed, features, it's been a blessing and money well spent. The touch screen is amazing. I use the screenshot feature a lot and it's great. The computer is fast. I bought this for home-based customer service business. It was great for toggling back and forth with screens even with a dual monitor. I only added one wifi source to minimize viruses. It doesn't collect dust and crumbs, so easy to keep clean. I recommend this model for business, school, or just high functionality. Battery life is good, probably slightly above average.

This is simply the best bang for your buck laptop around. The CPU is base clocked at 1.0ghz to conserve battery life, but it'll boost up to 3.6ghz to handle more intensive tasks. It's gonna be able to handle the typical load of web browsing with multiple tabs, streaming HD video, browsing file explorer and doing Word or Excel all at the same time even while hooked up to an external monitor. Seriously, the CPU is fine. It does it's job. The chassis is easy to open and the RAM and storage are all user upgradeable. I believe the battery is user replaceable also. The description says it has an SSD with a PCIE interface, which means the storage it comes with is an m.2 NVME drive, which is also upgradeable to a full 2280 size drive. It has a 2.5in drive bay for additional storage. The CPU supports RAM up to 3200mhz and I believe it comes with a single stick of 8gb running in single channel. I'd say you're better off just buying a new kit of 2x4gb or 2x8gb at 3200mhz so you can run in dual channel. You'll increase your performance in all tasks. It'll run with lower speeds too. Most DDR4 3200mhz laptop memory has a CAS latency of 22, so you maybe interested in a 2400 or 2666 kit with a lower CAS latency. Throw in a 1tb SSD and you're already running a better laptop than most. I'd only recommend gaming on older titles at 30fps at 720p. That's gonna look just fine on that size of monitor. You also have all the power you'll ever need to run some emulators. Do a clean install of Windows to get rid of all the bloatware and you're cruising. I only have two gripes: No type-C power delivery and no USB-C port for devices or external storage. If it had those two things this laptop would be perfect. Outside of that, this laptop is just all around great.

The computer is powerful enough to run any of my programs. It runs Photoshop like a breeze. With the SSD it boots quickly. Lightweight and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I got this laptop 2 years ago for online classes. Love the touch screen. The battery life is not so great though and once you try to multitask gets a little slow. A bit loud and gets hot when used for some time but other than that for simple usage it’s a good laptop for the price.

I replaced my 6 year old Dell laptop that had the power switch fail with a new Dell Inspiron 3511. The new Dell 3511 has lighter and has larger RAM and processor speed to easily handled all streaming and current larger software packages that I used. I was not able to upgrade to the latest Windows software with my older Dell. Several of the keyboard functions have been moved on the new Dell laptops, which I will eventually adjust to. I have also recommend the Dell 3511 to a friend and they also complimented me for the advise after they purchased one. They love their new Dell 3511 A good dependable laptop at a reasonable price.

A wonderful workhorse. A solid piece of equipment with many proven components, a reliable and fast processor and a very convenient touchscreen mode (I love how big it is). It's a good tool if you plan to use it domestically or even for writing and academic use. Is not for you if you're aiming towards video editing or graphic design use. I scored this as an open box deal, a little over $300 bucks. It's on the heavier side regarding portability, but it's on pair with other computers on the category.

I love this Dell Laptop, I have had it for 8 months now, The touch screen feature is awesome. There is no lag, everything runs smooth. Only drawback is it does not have the back lit keyboard. Other than that i am very happy with it. Battery life is good, i can use it for 8 hours without having to charge it. The display is crystal clear. You can link your phone to the laptop and text from it.

Fast, easy to set up way better then any other computer i have had...dell is better then HP!

This laptop seems to me perfect in everything for my level of need, I was looking for a laptop with a touch screen, light, medium speed and economical. This team gives me everything. I am using it to carry out my field reports from the car, get off with it to the clients' houses and carry out Wi-Fi tests. I highly recommend it.

I am writing this review purchasing this Dell Inspiron Laptop after 1 year and 6 months. Performance wise - Laptop is good. I used for watching videos and programming. The speed is as expected and no lag. But I encountered one issue which is kind of major. I am kind of disappointed about the brand Dell. The hinge is broken and really surprised about this. Earlier I used Compaq laptop and the hinge lasted for more than 10 years. But after using Dell laptop 1.5 years, hinge broken and 2022 model, its kind of surprise. I haven't much used to close and open the lid as I don't travel much. No dropping of laptop happened. Just using in home and hinge is broken is quite a surprise.

I love the touch screen- super fast, can run multiple apps without a lag, and overall a terrific laptop!

Computer works great. I play the sims 4 and I also have tons soft mods and it’s still works smoothly. Plenty of space. Also love the fact it’s touch screen. Only issue would be battery life. It’s not as long as previous laptops I’ve had.

Good priced laptop. Fast, light and wide. This is a good option when you just need a laptop with no high requirements. Comes with windows s-mode but it can be removed in order to install more programs.

This laptop has touch screen and is perfect for school and working through my IT Courses and projects. Just what I needed and very fast.

Great performance and good value for the price A good speed

I wanted a large but light laptop for my kids to use instead of an iPad. The speed and quality has been excellent. We bought it in Dec of 2022 and my kids (Ages 6 & 9) use it for homework and gaming.

I have used this laptop for online college for a year now. Given that I have used it daily since, I can say I would recommend this product to anybody. It is easy to use, has a good battery life, and I love the touch screen.

Screen is very easy to become separated from casing. I have probably opened the laptop a dozen times and the casing is pulling away from the screen. The piece that helps it turn away from the keyboard moved (defective?). I also wish I had paid attention and purchased the backlit keyboard. Used the laptop about 6 hours total over less than a year and the charger has been barely touched, and it will no longer charge. There are also 4-6 marks that showed up out of nowhere on my display screen. I hadn't used the laptop in months and saw this as it powered up. I bought this laptop SOLELY to save document's etc., regarding my children's school appointments/meetings for their IEP meetings and 504 Plan meetings. It's basically useless at this point. I hope Dell or Best Buy fairly help me resolve these issues. It hasn't even been a year since I purchased it.

I needed to upgrade my very old laptop. I wanted the same screen size (15.6). This laptop is quite nice. It's lightyears faster and more powerful than my old one. I like everything about it. Then again, I'm not a power user, so it meets my needs perfectly. It has Windows 11 and has more than I really need, but that's fine. The only ding I can give it is that the battery doesn't last as long as I would expect. However, I leave it plugged in most of the time so I don't worry about that. I haven't had any issues with the laptop so far. It was easy to set up as well.
