I have only used this laptop for a little over a month, however thus far it is fantastic. It is much faster than my 4 year old Latitude even though it has a similar Intel processer. The reason, I believe it is the drive. I no longer have a loud fan noise running most of the time. The lead time from Dell was 5 to 6 weeks to build my own machine. This system was in stock at Best Buy at a fair price. I placed my order on line and picked it up that day!

Overall this laptop is good. Lightweight, fast, and works well with multiple tabs open (no lag). Downside, I would not recommend anyone to pay full price for this laptop because there are other models available that are much better. If it's on sale is a great buy. I use this laptop for school assignments and my everyday needs. I don't use it for gaming so I wouldn't know how it performs.

So far so good. Fast. Only critique: when the laptop is actually on your lap, the keyboard back lights make the keys hard to see. For work, at a desk with an external keyboard, the laptop seems great so far.

This computer was reasonably priced and was capable of doing all the things we needed to do. Easy to set up and easy to install printer drivers. We also bought an external DVD drive and it worked well with this computer. Very compatible with a myriad of things. The size is perfect, not so large it's cumbersome, but large enough you can easily see. The purchase and pick up of the product was fast and easy.

Love this laptop, I wish I had bought the touch screen version for ease of use. I prefer a mouse and I am so glad the sales rep suggested I buy the quiet comfort grip mouse. My 2nd Dell and it is fast and ready to use instantly.

While I'm still getting used to the new operating system (I had been using Windows 7 for years), so far I am very impressed with the speed of start up and loading of programs. My old computer had a spinning hard drive and was getting quite noisy. This thing is a dream by comparison.
