Keyboard is sometimes hard to read as backlighting is not great. Also keyboard is very sensitive. Computer itself is fast and quiet - not much noise from fan others complained about.

So far this seems to be a really good deal. I do not like the color. If the sun is shining you cannot see the letters on the keyboard. Other than that, it is a good purchase.

The form factor and weight makes this feel similar to a macbook. It’s not quite as a nice as a samsung alpha flex 14 inch but still feels luxurious. The i7 is quick as hell, and it can even run some older or low-powered games quite well (2005 battlefront 2 works quite well!)

I love my new laptop, it is so light weight because I decied to choose this one without touchscreen function that helps to reduce the weight and also the battery last longer. I love touchscreen but I think I made a right chose. Good quality laptop.

Everything else is good but the keys are so hard to read because of very poor back light. I have to sit close to a lamp to work on this laptop. Its such an unwanted pain.

Bought as a gift for my son who is blown away by the speed of the processor and the responsiveness of ordinary programs like word, excel, etc.. Likes the keyboard layout. Very lightweight and easy to carry to work and back everyday.

Great purchase. Runs fast and smooth, very quiet and lightweight. Keyboard is responsive and feels good. Hardly notice the number key is gone. I never really used it much amyways. Overall very happy. Especially getting it for 600 on sale.

So far so good. Needed a simple laptop that I can take with to work. Battery life is awesome. Love the biometric login feature as well.

This laptop took me a while to get used to it. My retired one was about 6 inches wider so the smaller screen took some adjustment. I will eventually buy a monitor and use that. I use it mainly for editing video for my YouTube channel and at least for me, it works fine. The computer will not shut down on its own after it sits idle. How ridiculous is that? Per my research, it seems like it is a common problem too. A computer that won't shut down after it's requisite idle time. Incredible. Other than that. I like it a lot. It has the solid state hard drive and I love the instant on.

Wanted a lightweight with plenty of horsepower. Without sacrificing graphics and speed. I am able to run CAD software for viewing and design. Very smooth running and quick even with high memory software.

Great laptop so far. It is a little noisy, but I like the features and how sleek it is. The battery charges fast and lasts for a good amount of time. This is a dependable buy

This laptop is great, especially for me, as I'm a college student. It has more than enough power to handle my day to day school tasks, and then some (I do some 3D rendering and graphic design). The display is plenty bright, even in well lit conditions, and the keyboard is also very satisfying to type on. My only complaint is the keyboard backlighting, at night or low light conditions, it's good, but in bright conditions it's very useless. Also, the OS auto-changes the brightness whenever you switch between windows and pages (I haven't figured out how to deactivate this feature). Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchase, and I definitely recommend it for those looking for a nice sizable laptop for every day use.

Very pleased with this laptop, the only issue is the lighted keyboard which is difficult to view in the light. Once I discovered how to turn off no other issues. The battery life is very long lasting.

Very good product. Only problem with me is The letters on the keyboard is not very clear, it should use dark blue to instead light blue or light grey.

Easy to set up, Dell has always been reliable. A bit too small but that's just more of preference. Keyboard is okay, we'll see how it keeps up.

If you are looking for speedy access to internet, your apps and files this is the one you need. Compact and really easy to use. I love how fast this LT is.

Light weight, but sturdy, a solid quality, decent performance, just what I expected for this price range. I will recommend to my friends.
