    I have only had it one week, but so far I am very pleased. It boots up quickly and is very responsive. I am using it for email, word docs and spreadsheets. It’s the perfect size too!

    Great buy and great features . Bought it for a Christmas present and it worked out great. All data from the old computer was transferred by the Geek Squad team and all went great.

    Convenient size. Easy to use. The only flaw is the keyboard backlight and light coloring of the letters makes the keys hard to read.

    Great laptop, great build and fast. Why the 3 star review you ask....Simply bad choice on color for the keyboard, Its impossible to see the keys in a room brightly lighted. Also the uhd drivers refused to update. So lucky the day after my purchase the i7300 went on sell for the same price so you guessed it. I returned this unit and ordered the i7300

    So far everything good with this machine, the optane memory helps a little bit but the SSD disk is what u always need on a laptop, way different from an HDD laptop disk.

    Thought this would be an upgrade from the last Dell Inspiron I had, but it's been a hassle. First, this seems to have a power management issue. When I close laptop and put it to sleep it always dies overnight and I have to charge it in the morning. Doesn't seem to go into hibernation correctly. This never happened with my old one and I never changed settings on that one. It has also frozen up or slowed down a few times when I had a few programs open. I'm a writer, so it's not like I'm editing video - mostly use Word, Outlook and Chrome. Also, the power button is supposed to recognize your fingerprint, but it never does and I end up having to press a few times to turn on. A couple of minor things... the keys are hard to read in certain lighting. Also, the case is so slick, I almost slid it off the table couple of times. Had to buy rubber feet to keep it from sliding.

    Have had some trouble with wifi connection when other devices are doing just fine. Also the screen is smaller than I thought so I wish I would have gotten something a little bigger. Just seems slow and sluggish compared to my last two computers.

Here are some steps you may take to further troubleshoot the concern:

      Here are the recommended steps for troubleshooting your Wi-Fi issue:
      1. Ensure the computer has the most current BIOS update, for more information refer to Dell Knowledge base article What is BIOS and How to Download and Install the latest BIOS?
      2. When troubleshooting a Notebook, move it within 3-9 feet (1-3 meters) of the wireless router.
      3. When troubleshooting a Notebook, make sure the wireless switch is on.
      - For more information refer to the Dell Knowledge base article, How to Turn the Wireless Antenna On and Off on a Dell Computer.
      4. Turn off and then turn on all the devices on the network to reset and synchronize them, for more information refer to the Turn Off and Then Turn on All the Devices on the Network section.

      -Note: The driver is located in the Network section. You may need to transfer the driver by memory key from another computer or use a network cable connected to the computer needing the driver.
