This operates at least 20% slower than it should so I returned it. Very nice other than that, if you aren't doing cpu intensive activities then I would recommend

We are sorry to hear you returned your Inspiron on account of the performance of the not quite meeting your expectations. There are a number of considerations we recommend for ideal usage to better manage system temperatures.
1. Do not place laptops directly on your lap. Due to reductions in the thickness of modern laptops, heat transfer can be an issue.
2. Using a laptop on a hard, flat, non-cloth surface will increase airflow and reduce heat from underneath and inside the system.
3. Using the laptop on a blanket, pillow, or other types of cloth will cover up the fan cause the computer to overheat and can cause permanent damage.
4. It is recommended to use the laptop within a room temperature of 32°F to 95°F with a Humidity level no greater than 90%.
4. Use compressed air to clean the vents on a regular basis.
5. Using a cooling pad can decrease heat and increase performance.
6. If you want to know the temperature limitations for your system, go to the Dell Support website, look up your system model, and open the user guide under the manuals link.
We do hope you found a PC that was better suited for your needs and that you will reconsider us again in the future.
