This laptop has fantastic build quality and functionality. I definitely liked the fact the pen worked flawlessly/fluidly which was my main objective to purchase this laptop.
Though I came to realize that laptop runs a little warmer than my liking and bothered me. Because I use it in tablet mode, holding warm device for longer period of time is not very comfortable. I’m not sure if that is because of sharp resolution. In a real life we don’t need 4K resolution in this size of laptop, if reducing resolution might help reducing warmth of the system I prefer coolness over resolution but everyone’s preference varies.
I returned the product and went back to iPad for now. I’m very interested in if dell is going to produce ARM version of this laptop once plausible chipset is ready for windows side.

Purchased to replace a 10 year old laptop. Speed is noticeably fast. Pretty good battery life. Great size and portable. The loud fan issue is not a problem after updating drivers. I don't see where the 32GB optane storage is but still plenty of space.

Just what we were looking for. Will be used by my daughter for college. Small, portable, great screen size and good looks. Easy setup. Has everything she wanted, touch screen, 2:1 capability, good storage size, solid state HD, and a good value price for me.

I got this laptop as an open-box at Best Buy and was blown away by how powerful it was for its size! Processor and ram was incredible to run several work apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Chrome) without missing a beat. The touchscreen was a great addition!

It's good to be up to date . Being able to watch videos / movies in 4K is it! Haven't found any negatives that hamper stay at home usage. The only downside is that it has only one USB port and a Thunderbolt port that will never see use.

Got this laptop on sale at an awesome deal. The screen is bright and sharp, keys are tactile, and it's a 2-in-1 which is small enough to use as a tablet and the included pen is a big plus. RAM is adequate for most programs. This laptop turns on instantly with I guess is part of the EVO labeling. Too bad you can't add more RAM as it's soldered and no available slots to be had. You can change the SSD to larger one because it's removable. I love the USB-C charging port and it charges quickly. You can also use a fast cell phone charger. I have a Samsung fast phone charger at 45watts and an Apple charger (which I just bought) at 61watts. The laptop charges at 65 watts so if you ever need to charge the laptop when you forget your brick you can use a phone charger. The included charger itself is of a decent size. Have to be aware that there's only one USB-A port and a microSD card slot. If you want another USB-A port I bought a USB-C to USB-A connector which works without a hitch. You can also adjust the screen size to 1080p to save power. At 50% brightness, YouTube, emails, Facebook and reading articles in battery saver mode you can achieve up to 8-10 hours of screen time at 4K depending on how intensive you're going to be. Overall it's an excellent fast laptop, lightweight, portable and a 2-in-1 with an included pen.

The computer works very well. It was quick to set up. The touch screen works great. The screen has a great picture. The pencil works very well with it. My only two complaints about it is that the battery doesn’t lady overly long and the lack of ports. The ports is easily overcome with a docking station. Other than that I feel it is a great computer for the cost.

The laptop is great. Nice ergonomics, nice size, weight, speed. Has a pencil and built in holder that is very convenient. The reversible screen and pencil are great, and Apple could learn a thing or two from this design. I like using a touch screen with just the normal Windows or Mac OS. I really hate the Windows cutezy tablet side and never use it. It's senseless.
However, it is a Windows computer. I haven't been a serious user Windows for over 13 years. I did have three Windows 7 and 8 Surfaces for one thing only, OneNote to take had written notes. Windows 10 baffles me after being on Mac for so long. I need the computer for a series of software for astro-photography. The only reason I bought it. But the laptop is first rate and really nice size and feel, and speed seems fine.

Great light compact laptop. I don’t use it much but it is great for the documents I need for work, pay some bills, and surf the net. Battery doesn’t last too long. I would think it would last longer but it’s average.

This laptop is light and compact. Bought it to replace a older HP laptop which was very slow. This laptop is very fast and easy to use. Small keyboard takes some getting used to so I use a USB wireless keyboard when at home.

TLDR: Great ultrabook! Just not great for me.
Purchased this for use around the house and for when I'm out of town for work. Laptop is beautiful and build is spot on. Screen is wonderful! This is a great laptop but after three weeks I ended up returning it today and got something more capable. The laptop is fast but unfortunately it does seem to struggle at times when you're trying to do anything more than listen to music. Word. Surfing the net. Laptop does seem to like to run it's fans but I suspect this is because of the 4k resolution. The screen is beautiful but I think the UHD is overkill on the 13.3inch screen. I feel like the 1980x1200p version would be a more reasonable buy or "bang for your buck".
Battery life was okay. I think the most I ever got reliably was around 6-7hr on balanced with keyboard light off and brightness at 50%.
Like I said it is a beautiful laptop! Just was a tad under powered for what I ended up needing a ultra book for. Replaced it today with a 14inch gaming laptop that doesn't look like its for gaming but has the hardware I was needing.

On paper this is a perfect machine, in every day use this machine doesn’t tick not one box. The battery life is abysmal and tbh that’s what matters most on a laptop. I got this open box for $650 at $1500 I wouldn’t have even looked in its general direction. I decided to return it after messing around with it for about a week.
This machine just won’t last to get any real work done, the battery dies so fast it isn’t even funny!!! Sun 2 hours in normal use! The only thing I liked about it was the 2in1 form factor but that isn’t even exclusive to this device!
This little device can perform when it’s charged but does get loud! Not worth it look elsewhere

This Unit is very nice. This is a GREAT Ultra thin 2-in-1 Laptop. The processor I7 1165g7 is fast. The BAD thing about it is the Battery lasting time on a charge. BUT With this laptop (since I know how to change the setting) I made it extend the battery life. So I got about 8 Full hour 0f Video stream and Web Surfing on one CHARGE. Also for the BEST Value for your money, Get DELL EXTENDED WARRANTY. I bought their Full Warranty with all coverage for Two Years for only $ 260 that include tax for. It is cheaper then Best Buy Geek Squad Plan and Total Tech Support. With combine it well of cost me ($279.99 + $199.99) $478.98, just to get the same coverage that DELL offer for two year plan.

Excellent small size laptop for the road. I am using it to transfer my videos from the camera and edit. Works nicely, appreciate the size and decent speed.
