Great build quality, screen color, brightness, and clarity are fantastic. Keyboard is nice and crisp for a laptop keyboard. The Ryzen 5 is a bit warm for such a small form factor but it stays plenty cool and is blazing fast. My only gripe is the inability to expand memory as 8gb is a bit anemic these days, though for the price during black friday I cant complain. This thing is LIGHT and the battery performance has been great thus far. It was the perfect purchase for my SO as a small business laptop and is capable of running many business related apps at once thanks to the Ryzen's higher threadcounts. Would recommend to anyone doing a lot of word, spreadsheet, and possibly light photo editing. I'd opt for a model with more memory and possibly dedicated graphics if you're looking to do a lot of media work. As for this unit, it'd be great for anyone that works on the go.

The form factor of the laptop is really good with asthetics that match top end laptops. I bought this laptop when I was a student and the performance of this was optimum to run my codes and programs.

So far, this is an excellent laptop! I am a law school student, and this computer meets all of my expectations. Here's my thoughts: Pros: - Portable and light. Device is made with a good material. - Great keyboard - I found myself able to type quicker than on other computers - Good battery life - ~9 hours on a single charge, though this depends on your settings - Windows 11 is a winner. Not computer-specific, but part of the experience. It's intuitive and appealing, and the system has great features. It runs smoothly on the device. - The computer is fast and handles Microsoft Office programs, streaming, and other software without any issues - The touchscreen is great - the ability to rotate the screen along the computer's axis, effectively turning the device into a tablet, is a great feature. Without the ability to rotate the screen, I don't see much purpose in having a touchscreen. Using the computer as a tablet makes it easier to read documents online. Cons: - The screen could be a bit brighter. Any setting other than max brightness seems dull when in a well-lit space. This is hardly a reason to not purchase the computer. - Several hundred dollars is not cheap for a student, but not going to break the bank. I figure it's an investment and that, with the Geeksquad plan I purchased, I'll have it for 3-4 years. Bottom line: I am a law school student who needs a reliable device that mostly serves to help me complete tasks on Microsoft Office programs, stream video, and use other business-oriented programs like Adobe. This computer is fantastic. The keyboard allows me to type quickly, Windows 11 is a great and runs smoothly, and the touchscreen, which rotates fully on the device's axis to become a tablet, is a great feature that makes it easier to read documents (and legal materials, sigh) digitally. Would highly recommend to anyone who has similar needs.

Love the touch screen because with all laptops the built in mouse pad sucks. So the touch screen is a life saver.

This is hands down the best laptop I have purchased. Been having it for a few years. I Have no complaints. It’s versatile. When I first received purchased this lap top I was a teacher but now I work in healthcare and is in rolled in school and this laptop has not let me down. Would recommend a case if you have children around the home ( baby jumped on my laptop and shattered my screen and screen disconnect from the keyboard and it was hanging by a thread and the keyboard was literally still working and it was barely attached , lol )

Nice laptop. I use it for small business. Only gripe is the touchpad is a little wonky. Seems like it expands outside the actual area of the touchpad. Very annoying when it saves/deletes/re-sizes et al on its own. Don’t like windows constantly pushing updates. Best part is the durability during moderate-heavy use in a pickup/construction environment and the exceptional battery life. Days stuck back in bag, no standby/sleep, pull it out a week later and still have 70% battery.

Love this ! The touch screen is great and the backlit keyboard makes this a dream to use ! The size of this fits me perfectly for taking with on trips away from home . I do a lot of photography and need a good clear screen to edit my photos and this is so much better than others I have considered buying. If you want a good small, portable, easy to take with laptop then this is the one for you . The price is good and if you can find it on sale it is quite affordable.

    Great computer, poor laptop

The internal specs are fast. Ryzen 5 5500U, dual channel 8g ddr4-3200 ram, 256 SSD, both RAM and storage are upgradable if you need more. It can handle any basic task with ease, and even some light video editing, gaming, and other programs. I ran Rocket League perfectly fine, I'm sure students and others will have plenty of uses for this. Where it falls short is the aspects that make a laptop an all in one solution for computing needs: A display, speakers, and a keyboard. The display is around 225 nits and 45% color coverage. It looks very dim and dull for its price range, although it may be passable for some people. The audio was even worse, I got crackling and distortion at higher volumes. So if I needed to hear something better, it would be accompanied by a crackling noise. Not sure if this is a defect or just really poor speakers. A midrange smartphone has a much better display and probably better speakers than this. And lastly, the keyboard feels mushy. It's also crammed too together and awkward to type on, however this is probably typical of smaller laptops. The overall build quality feels solid though, and the hinges on the display feel sturdy. The 2 in 1 solution is very versatile. For those wondering, the bamboo ink stylus works on this, with just a little bit of input lag. Overall I think this a solid computer if you get it on sale, maybe closer to $500, but I wouldn't want to carry around a laptop that is lackluster in these areas. If you're inside and don't mind a dim display, use headphones, and think a flimsy keyboard is fine, you may get years of use out of it, especially because you can upgrade components. There is HDMI and USB C output, so you could use an external monitor and which this would make a great desk setup. As for the laptop I went with, I got an open box Inspiron 7706 for $600 that I strongly prefer over this. It has a 17 inch, QHD (1600p!) display with 300+ nits peak brightness and overall looks way better. Its much bigger and heavier, but I prefer the screen space. The keyboard also feels much more sturdy and bigger. I wish it had the Ryzen chip, but an 11th gen Intel i7 will get me through school work easily. I feel like I got my money's worth with the 17inch QHD model, and the 14inch FHD model just falls short unfortunately.
