    black keyboard hard to see in dim light a few slow responses to keys had weird noise soon after purchase and took in to check

    Defective hinge not covered by warranty

    Price to performance ratio-wise, the laptop is excellent. I used it for classes in my university as a computer science major, and it was able to handle any tasks thrown at it. My one complaint with the laptop is that the touchscreen accuracy is abysmal, but at least good to click X and scroll. The reason for 1 star is that around 2 weeks from when I bought it at the store, I started feeling that the right hinge was a little loose, but I just chalked it up to it, naturally being like that. It wasn't until the return period had passed after two months and a half that the hinge actually came apart. Then a week after that, the screen started to crack from the bottom right as the pressure from essentially missing a hinge weighed on it. I contacted Dell Warranty to see if they would cover this as I'm assuming the hinge was defective otherwise horrible product quality, but they do not cover it, so :/ So I would say it's pretty terrible for only getting about 4 months of use from the laptop. It still might be worth a buy, though, if you get a lucky draw on a non-defective model.

    I kept having problems with the screen glitching, so I returned it. While I was on Zoom, the call dropped because of unnecessary updates. There were so many updates needed, I felt it wasn’t worth it. I returned it.

      Lastly when it comes to the updates, rest assured that is sounds like your system is operating normally. There are typically a number of operating system, firmware, and BIOS updates that release between your Inspiron leaving the factory and it arriving in your hands. Depending on your usage, these may require multiple restarts to finalize. If needed in the future, we recommend you proceed as it is critical these updates are installed so you have the best possible experience to date. You can check the progress of these updates within Windows Update settings as well as the Dell Update application that came pre-installed with your device.

    I love the lap top but it had a power issue and best buy refunded it instead of exchanged it so it was a bad experience.

    The hinged cracked on the laptop which caused a crack in the screen. I read there is a class action laswsuit. Do not buy

    The product is very helpful for anyone in grammar school/high school you have to be very careful with saving the battery and touching the pad too hard

We are glad you are enjoying your Dell Inspiron 7415 2-in-1 computer but we are sorry to hear that you are not 100% satisfied with it because its battery is not lasting as long as you would like and the touchpad is too sensitive to the touch. We will share your comments about these issues with our quality team, so future improvements can be made.

      To help the battery to perform better, we recommend changing the Power Plan:

      1. On the notification area of the taskbar, right-click the Battery icon.
      2. On the options list, click Power Options.
      3. Select a power plan on the battery meter, such as Power Saver or Balanced. Windows 10 has a built-in 'Battery Saver' mode that can be activated to extend your system's battery life. The Battery Saver mode will monitor and limit background activity and other features such as push notifications. You do have the option to enable or disable this mode within settings or within advanced Battery Saver settings, you can customize the mode to best suit your needs.

      a) Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar and select the tile for Battery Saver.
      b) If running Cortana then type Battery Saver into the search box and select from the results.
      Within the Battery Saver settings page, you will be able to turn on and off the feature and customize the feature to best meet your needs.
      c) Turn the Battery Saver On or Off.
      d) Additional settings are available via the Battery use and Battery saver settings links.
      e) Battery use shows further info on apps and their power usage.
      f) Battery Saver Settings screen allows you to customize further Battery Saver features.
