Bought this laptop to replace a older HP that was with windows 7. Like the lighted keyboard, the brilliant screen, speed and size.

Purchased the Dell 7415 2N1 for my disable wife (to replace the 9 yr old HP) in Sept '21. No real problems except the touchpad sensitivity changed after some driver and Win 11 updates... Unit was operated in the laptop position and rarely moved. First week Feb '23 the right hinge failed, display was still working fine. Unit had never been dropped or mishandled. Took unit to Geek Squad and paid $85 to be sent for repair estimate -- estimated repair was $740+ which is more than original cost and more that a brand new unit ! Its obvious from the BB reviews and Dell forums the hinge design and/or manufacturing on this model are defective and replacement parts are unavailable Obviously cannot recommend this unit and disappointed in Dell denying that unit is defective.

Great laptop for rhe price! I love the touch screen and the battery life is long. Slim design. So glad we decided on the Dell laptop.

I love the item. It's easy to use; no problems with the functionality of the laptop itself. I do feel that Dell tried so hard to make various transition action so easy that it can be a tad frustrating at time. For instance, the feature that makes the writing on the screen larger or smaller seems to have a mind of its own...frustrating. Otherwise, it does all that it was stated to do and has some great features. Plus, it looks pretty good:)

Love this Computer! It is perfect, the options are all there! It was easy to set up. It is a lighter weight and balanced nicely, yet feels substantial. I was searching for a good laptop put together and offer in a really nice package. Finally, I think Dell did it right and must have been listening to what people want to have... the price was nice too.

Great laptop but: BE ADVISED: Window 11 REMOVED TABLET MODE "SWITCH" and replaced it with an "automatic" setting which is stupid decision... as sometimes you want to use it in desktop mode or tablet mode at will...but the problem is for ALL 2 - in 1 computers: The tablet mode in windows 11 only switches when the physical keyboard is removed...GREAT JOB MICROSOFT!!! Windows 11 in general sucks...Its trying to look like a CRAPPLE Also the audio at louder volumes was poor...I thought it was just the limitation of the speakers with this unit... AND THEN: Out of sheer frustration with out being able to switch in and out of tablet mode - I DOWNGRADED TO WINDOWS 10 and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! Not only Did I get back the mass amount of function that was taken away in Windows 11... THE SOUND ISSUE WAS GONE!!! And now I must say the sound is actually pretty good on this unit. In summery If you are going to get this... The first thing you should do is "Upgrade" it to windows 10!

This computer had everything I needed at a great price. I needed to take a online test that would be proctored remotely and could not use a chrome book or a MAC, which was all I had. On the day of my test, the proctor had me pick up the laptop and move it around so that they could look/scan the room to make sure I was not cheating or that there was no one else in the room. The proctor said it was super clear and one of the best cameras he’s seen!

less than 3 years and it broke off the hinge..try to open and hinge came off

Love it, should have got it sooner. It performs better than expected. We didnt realize how slow our old one was.

Great laptop! Used it mainly for work, but sometimes an occasional game, and it works great for both purposes!

I love this laptop, but 2 weeks after the warranty went oht the henge breaks! I keep it in a case, in a padded sleeve & in a tote. So im very carfule, and not clumsy woth my electronics l. This should not have happened!!! And Dell tells me, “they are aware of the design flaw, but i have to pay for it bc the warranty had expired”. Thats not okay, Dell.

Great laptop to use for writing papers! the display is fantastic and i love the sleek, clean finish it has. The touch screen does get dirty with fingerprints but it’s nothing a wipe down can’t do. My favorite parts are the touch ID and lit keyboard! Just make sure you’re up to date with updates because the laptop will shut down randomly but other than that…fantastic laptop for college students!

I bought this laptop for graduate school and it is amazing! Perfect size and versatile!

Has done what I have needed it to do. The speed and Performance is above what I had expected.

Great computer, nice compact and light weight. The screen is big enough to work all day.east to transport.

Bought it for my mom, she's in her 70's. Haven't heard any complains, so that's a win for the computer.

A great laptop for your basic web browsing and emailing. Built quality is great for the price and even better than some higher-priced laptops. The screen is good but not great since the brightness is a little low for my liking. The battery is great for web surfing but I'm not sure for heavier tasks. Overall I'm satisfied so far. 8/10
