Very Good Laptop

She does a lot of Zoom meetings due to the Pandemic and model was clearly better than her old unit. Setup was easy and speed and battery life were much improved. This model uses USB-C charging. It can also double as a tablet with a flat screen.

Great laptop, keyboard is not for big hands

The fan does run a little loud even while idling. I have small hands but the keyboard seems to be slightly smaller and my hand placement needs to be slightly adjusted. I use function keys a lot and unfortunately you need to use the FN key in conjunction to get it to work

I GAVE A RATING OF 4 BECAUSE THERE IS NO OPERATING MANUAL AND MCAFEE CONTINUES TO REPORT THAT THIS UNIT IS NOT SAFE, EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT THE YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION. IT APPEARS THEY JUST WANT TO SELL WHAT I ALREADY HAVE, OR THEY DO NOT KNOW THAT I HAVE SUBSCRIBED.

It is a good alternative to the more expensive devices and for my use case (mainly office, email, and storage tasks) it works quite well.
