However, about a month after purchasing, two keys stopped working and the “lower brightness” key did the opposite than is was meant to. It has glitches every now and then and I wished I could return it but the 15 days had gone by.

1. Run diagnostics on your keyboard, and you have the option to run online or built-in diagnostics (you will need a known good keyboard that is attached to start the diagnostics).

2. Browse to the Online Keyboard Diagnostics page.
-The test will start automatically.
3. You may be prompted to install or update the SupportAssist program, if so, follow the prompts.
4. The keyboard test is an interactive test, and you must press every key to test your keyboard thoroughly.

Decent laptop overall

For the pros I wish there were more storage which is why I gave it an average value score. Set up is easy and fingerprint unlock is a cool feature.

Sandstorm finish is easy on the eyes and 14 inch size is very lap comfortable. The background lighted keyboard is an extra bonus for aging eyes. Screen color image is not quite as sharp or colorful as a cell phone, but is good.

The laptop is very thin and light making it fantastic for traveling. The big screen doubling as a tablet makes for a great viewing device while streaming shows and movies. Full Windows capabilities is a huge plus. Overall a fantastic machine.

Battery life is only 6 hours and the screens color wasn’t great but nothing awful. It’s really crazy that this can be classified as an ultra book but still have a 6 core processor

This is a bit smaller and doesn’t have the ten-key, however it works well and is a bit lighter. It’s also a tad smaller, and that will come in handy when I return to wiring in the office instead of at home.

But I was set on getting a Hp. I did a little research and seen that this had a great processor and decent amount of ram (plan to upgrade). But since it was on sale, I decided to go with this computer. Overall, it’s a great computer
