Here's what I wish I knew about this laptop. Overall, I love the speed, look, and performance of this laptop. However, I wish I'd know that this laptop wasn't compatible with Adobe Photoshop for drawing and sketching. However, I did manage to find a solution online called TouchMousePointer. Look it up on youtube. It's a software that enables you to draw in photoshop. You'll have to download it at your own risk. If it doesn't work the first time, find another video on it. The first video I found gave the wrong instructions. Next, be careful, the charger gets hot sometimes, but the laptop keeps a long charge. I can finally use my laptop without a plug. I previously had HP Laptops, and I'm done with them. They are so slow, and mine never kept a charge. I came to Dell because of my Dell All in One Desktop. It was way better than my laptop. I needed a new laptop for my work when I travel if I ever get to travel again. Anyhow, this time around I decided to choose a Dell and not an HP. Lastly, if you draw and sketch on this, be sure to purchase a digitizing pen, ie Stylus. Wacom of course for me, but apparently they sell one to. Otherwise, you'll be drawing or sketching with your finger. I also use a cheap rubber stylus from the dollar store which works fine for sketching and could work for taking notes. If your new to digital drawing and painting, just make sure your stylus is compatible with Windows Ink. The cheap rubber ones don't count, but they do work.

Short version: Very good laptop for someone who has limited number of applications to install. With the pending failure of my old laptop, I needed a new one to help bridge the gap until I could decide what it is I really wanted. This new laptop really does have just about everything you need except for sufficient hard drive space. The 256 GB SSD (hard drive) seems like a lot but todays software eats that up really fast. I have more programs to install but the hard drive is already 3/4's full. So, I have only installed what I consider to be my most used applications. With the programs I use regularly (i.e., Word, Excel, Quicken, Tax programs and Norton 360) and games made available from within Facebook, I have yet to have an issue.

Bought this for my girlfriend and for the price it’s an excellent performing machine . I ran it against my MacBook Pro on graphic and tasks and it kept up with it. I kinda want one now ... One thing I don’t like about most of the laptops is that they are 3-1 , which means they use hinges that allow the monitor to flex and fold into a tablet format . I’ve had a few issues with those hinges breaking and having to send it into service .

I bought this for my grandson when an older laptop gave up the ghost. Unfortunately during this time he has to spend a lot of time in front of it. Not too big and not too small. The AMD Ryzen processor, touch screen and the big hit is the backlit keyboard. Even Alexa built in! It has all the bells and whistles that he needs for working on his school work and (enjoying his time out of school as well). Lightweight, sturdy case (not cheap plastic) and great Dell quality. It is perfect for students.

I purchased this laptop for my son with special needs. He doesn't do a lot of office type work, but needs something he can use to search the internet and have Zoom meetings, watch movies, check email and such. It has more functionality than he needs, but he loves it. He likes the size and weight, not too big and heavy and he enjoys being able to use the touch screen or tablet mode. Set-up took just a couple minutes and was easy.

6 plus hours of battery life. Pretty awesome. The touchscreen feature makes navigation easier. The lens on the camera gives the user some privacy if needed for zoom conference. The lens is really discrete as it took me a while to figure out why my zoom conference was blank. Finally, the computer can be converted into a tablet just by flipping the computer around. This computer makes my college life easier.

It’s been over two years and I’ve never had an issue with it. And although the battery life is not the way it was when I got it but it was expected. I have never had a full memory capacity once and I use the laptop for school work and church work as well. I practically use it every day since I got it and it’s been great so far. Will sure buy DELL again if I’m done with this.

Bought for our 2nd year high school student with the expectation that it will last through college. The color is unique. The programs open quickly and smoothly. Plenty of hard drive space which she probably won't even need since everything is backed up to the cloud these days. I'd buy for myself but the screen is a bit small for me.

I’ve owned this laptop for a few weeks now and so far it’s done everything I bought it for. I can use it for digital art just fine using a cheap stylus I bought. I THINK it’s active stylus compatible which would make drawing on it even better, but it’s still really nice. I haven’t tested the full potential just yet, but so far it seems to decently run fruity loops for music production which is great. It’s not even close to being a gaming laptop, but it can run light gaming. Among us has low specs so it ran perfectly, I imagine other low spec games would also run fine. I use it mostly for streaming services, the only issue in that regard is the speaker quality isn’t the best, but I use headphones 99% of the time so it hasn’t been an issue. The keyboard is backlit which is hella helpful at night, but there’s only 3 options, bright, very slightly less bright, and off. On a final note, the battery life. I can’t remember what the product details say, but I get maybe 7-9 hours on a charge.

I like the Dell Inspiron 14 7000 2-in-1 touch screen laptop. I really like the touch screen and the HD format. The only thing that I miss is the built-in CD drive. Everything else is excellent. This lap top is very fast and moves quickly from menu to menu. I really like this laptop!!!

Just bought a Dell Inspiron 14 7000 and I love it! The sales associate was very knowledgeable and helped me narrow my choices down. I decided on the Dell Inspiron because it is sleek, lightweight and meets the performance demands I need for college. I love the touchscreen feature and have recommended this laptop to all my friends and family. Thanks Best Buy, Keri.

This laptop runs rather fast. You can download a few games but may want to buy a laptop fan with it. I downloaded an fps game and it runs smoothly, but just gets warm really quick (only when you’re gaming though). Otherwise, its a good laptop to use for school or just for home quarantine now. Runs fast and I have yet to encounter an issue. Satisfied with my purchase so far!

Seamless transitions from tablet to laptop mode. Cant do that with a macbook lol .comes with 8.00 GB (7.37 GB usable) of ram. Some issues with the screen going black and having to go look through videos of how to get the screen back on. Bring your charger with you while on the go, you'd be lucky to get 1 hour and a half of use without it being plugged in. A 45w charger is included. Upgrade to a 90W. says 256gb but in reality its only 222 gb. Also 64-bit operating system, Pen and touch support with 10 touch points. i've had a problem with files and light gaming (Gta,Nba 2k, Madden). I will be lucky if I get another year out of this laptop. In retrospect I should've waited another week and got a something from the Xps line. These were my experiences, but at the end of the day spend your bread how you wanna spend it.

The color is dark bronze and laptop is on the slim side but has some heft to it. Video output is outstanding (great resolution). Speakers are located under the laptop on both sides (does not go across the entire bottom) and sound great (almost stereo-like and clarity), which is surprising for a laptop. When lid is lifted, the back end elevates a little allowing for some ventilation. Speed is pretty decent, webcam has built-in shutter which is a little difficult to find. The screen is glossy. The top lid feels a little rough around the edges, although there rubber bumpers on the keyboard area to prevent scratching. The manufacturer should have added a rubber gasket to go around the inside of the lid. There is a finger print reader.
