Connects to WIFI easily and she was able to download all the apps she needs with ease. She loves to laptop and has no complaints!

I do believe it is a tad bit overpriced.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We appreciate your kind words and apologize for the issues you have come across with your display resolution. We would love to help right away and have provided steps below that can help adjust your resolution through Windows 10.
Setting the resolution in Windows 10:
1. Close all open programs.
2. You can either right click Start, and then click Control Panel or click on start and type Control Panel and click the icon that appears.
3. In the Control Panel window, click System, and then click Display.
4. Select the monitor you want to change, if more than one is connected to your PC.
5. Click on the Resolution drop down box to see a list of recommended resolutions for that display.
6. Click on the one you want, to change the screen resolution, and then click Apply.
7. Click on keep changes if you want to keep the new settings. If not select revert.
- Note: If new settings do not work, Windows® will attempt to revert back to the original settings automatically.
8. Restart the computer to ensure that the changes stay in effect.

Due to the pandemic, I was looking for another option on laptops (due to my current laptop being outdated). This laptop is super fast and a better option when it comes to cost.

Burns your lap hot. Not impressed. This chip is higher wattage but I was experiencing shutdowns under load. -Screen is honestly washed out, overly glossy, and too bright at times. I had to return mainly for this reason. -Fingerprint scanner was sub par. Worked half the time.

Thanks for your detailed review. We are happy to see that there are a lot of things that you are enjoying with your new laptop. If your computer continues to overheat while you're using it, here are some tips that you can try:
Tips for Proper Usage:
1. Dell does not recommend placing portable systems directly on your lap. Due to reductions in the thickness of modern portable systems, heat transfer can be an issue.
2. Using a portable system (Laptop) on a hard, flat, non-cloth surface will increase airflow and reduce heat from underneath and inside the system.
Using the portable system on a blanket, pillow, or other types of cloth will cover up the fan cause the computer to overheat and can cause permanent damage.
3. It is recommended to use the portable system in a Room temperature of 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F) with a Humidity level no greater than 90%.
4. Use compressed air to clean the vents on a regular basis.
5. Using a cooling pad can decrease heat and increase performance.
6. If you want to know the temperature limitations for your system, go to the Dell Support Website, look up your system model then open the user guide under the manuals link.

Great Laptop

The sound and visuals are great, and it's a good quality computer. We've only had it for a month but I'm pleased with it thus far! I use it for remote work and it's up to the task.

I only wish that I had replaced my ageing earlier laptop sooner.

Lit keyboard to better work in low lightning areas. Love it. Must be careful though the vents are at the bottom, so can't leave it in the bed while working. Overall great product.

Screen has some backlight bleed but only notice it while booting up. In windows it looks fine. First AMD notebook I've owned and I'm pleased with its performance at this price point so far.

It did not include a mouse or any documentation, but did include the power supply. Windows 10 is pretty self-explanatory so no harm / no foul.

Also it does not have a CD drive/tray or the numbers on the side like i am used to. But it was at a great price (open box really pays off sometimes!).

Read that it’s not unusual with this model and it’s definitely a negative. The upside is that it’s easy enough to remedy, it’s just annoying that it even happens.
