Can't say enough good things about this. Pair it with the compatible stylus from Dell and it was a pleasure to use for my classes. The screen quality is great for a $999 notebook, and the specs for that price were hard to believe. 16gb, 8 cores, integrated graphics, and 512gb SSD?!?!?! For real? In this economy? All jokes aside, this a really good deal to do pretty much anything (even a bit of light video editing, and AMD advertises a bit of 1080p gaming even without a dedicated gpu). Good buy

So far so good! I love the touch screen and how fast it is. My last laptop was 7 years old and running very slowly. My only gripe is that I wish I would have went with a slightly bigger one as I have fat fingers. I love the blue color as well. While I don't do much other than the internet on the computer, my son and daughter use it for gaming and schooling and it does the job.

Quality Laptop For The Price

Quality laptop. I've used it for work and minor gaming - though its not a gaming laptop. Still I'm surprised at how smooth it runs. Windows 11 has its quirks and I only ran into an issue loading up RuneScape3, but it is what it is. With some researching I was able to get it working fine.
I've had no issues with the battery life nor with the touch screen feature - though I've not used the touch screen too much. Good business laptop.

The Right Buy for Me!

I got a great deal on this laptop but the performance is what really impressed me. I wanted a touch screen even though I will barely use it. Actually everyone else seems to touch my screen every time they point something out. Having not only touch screen but adding the 2 in 1 feature goes a step further. I barely use this feature so I would suggest reading a different review if touch screen is your thing.
I wanted a computer with at least the Ryzen 7 and more memory than you find in the entry level models with 8gb. After loading windows and other basic programs it will be almost full and how well is the computer going to perform at max memory? I wanted at least 12gb but this one was even better at 16gb. The drive has plenty of storage at 512gb.
If reducing size from a 17 or 15.6 inch or whatever size you had is something you are looking to do then I can provide some input. I have a laptop that is the more standard size i would say at 15.6 inches but I was always intrigued by more compact options. I went into the store and compared and I did have trouble losing the number pad on the right hand side. I still miss it when I am punching in numbers every now and again at work. But the loss is minimal for how much I enjoy carrying it around. Its not bulky, its very slim, and just feels solid.
You cant go wrong with this laptop. Hopefully this might help someone.

I needed a light weight small profile laptop to take along to demo a small indie game dev project i'm working on in unity. This laptop has enough power to demo my project and has since become my favorite laptop for bench testing my games performance as i continue development. This is my first Dell in some time and i'm glad to be back with Dell! Great performance, looks great, fan is not too loud and the keyboard is very comfortable to type on.

So far this computer has surpassed my expectations. I love the color, it’s a very grayish blue color with the bottom being gray. The size of the computer is perfect, not too big to not be portable but enough length where I can see the screen comfortably. The keyboard itself is great for typing, have no complaints. The touchscreen is the best I’ve had, very responsive to my hand. In terms boot up, it’s incredibly fast. There is some junk apps in the hard drive but all you have to do is delete what you don’t need. When it comes to processing power and graphics card capability, I have been able to run a couple games without any problems, although it can get a bit hold (most laptops are like this anyway). I have been able to play roblox smoothly and Hearts of Iron IV great. I bought the Raphael 520 Pen for this laptop and the screen works very well with it. The battery life can vary I will admit. But as long as you don’t have your battery settings on performance mode and your brightness ridiculously high, the laptop’s battery can last for hours. Altogether I think this is a great laptop if your looking for a computer to use for school or work but still want that computer capability to play some video games.

This is my first puchase for a Dell product. My previous laptop was a HP Envy and it was BIG and bulky. Not to mention it was kinda heavy carrying around for a period of time. It was good for multi-tasking, but it so SLOW after updates. Hardly ever turn on at times. When i decided to get a new one. I was no longer wanted another HP Envy. After some research, I decided on purchasing this Dell laptop. It had what I wanted.. plug in for my earphones.. HMDI and usb ports. Lit Keyboard. It was smaller and extremely lightweight compared to my HP and easier to carry for traveling. It starts up fast and multi-task very well. Even though it has only 512 gb memory. Smaller than my HP, but it was cheaper too. My only dislike it didnt have a dvd reader/writer, but buying a external one isn't very expensive. I highly recommend this laptop for anyone.

Overall this laptop has been good! I bought it mainly for light gaming and average online use. Including streaming shows and what not. I've had this laptop for about a year now. The battery isn't lasting as long as it used to, but that's to be expected for any electronic after constant use. For the gaming part, it obviously kills the battery and gets super warm. You'll find that with any laptop. Now it is starting to come apart at one of the back corners, especially when I flip it to the tablet mode. I'm not sure if it's a flaw in the making of it or just normal wear and tear. But if you're looking for a good laptop for average use, it'll be great for you.

I bought this for my daughter as her laptop died right as she approached the end of her semester. It was recommended by a co-worker of mine and seemed like a good deal. She LOVES it!!! She loves the touch screen, the folding like a table and the speed! It's just what she needs

I have literally owned this laptop for less than 1 year and and i opened the laptop one day and the right hinge just broke out of nowhere! and it broke the screen too so now i have the laptop barely hanging and a cracked screen! I never use the tablet mode and I am very careful with laptop so it did not fell or anything. i literally just use it for school that is it! I am extremely annoyed and frustrated because the last Dell laptop I had the motherboard burned and of course noone can do anything about that! I have just seen the other reviews about the hinge being broken and this seems to be a manufacture issue! there is no way everybody with the laptop just randomly had this happen! you guys should really do something about this because this is unacceptable! not to mention that i had to turn off the touch screen because it was accidentally touch way before the hinge broke. overall just a really bad laptop.
