Have had issues with the charging port 3x. The battery lasts maybe 2-3 hours. It is very fast for basic internet tasks. Both worth the price in my opinion.

Wonderful Purchase

Best purchase I've made in a long time. The keyboard has a great feel, I like the backlight option for early am or late night. Response time is lightening fast. I usually have 4 or 5 programs running at once which does not tax the machine. I'm not crazy about some of the bloatware, but there's enough memory for me for MANY years. The display is gorgeous. I have no trouble switching seamlessly between programs. The touch screen is a nice added feature, but I haven't used it much. The only problem I have had is with the fingerprint ID. That may have been user error, and I need to redo it. All in All, highly recommend.

Amazing 2-in-1 computer

Got two of these for my teenagers during Christmas 2020.
The laptops are very light in weight, the touchscreen is sensitive enough that works as a tablet, and the screen is very bright.
We just had a vacation time and they did not hesitate to bring their laptops with them. They were able to watch movies during the drive and during the flights.
The start up is very fast due to the solid state drive. 12gB on RAM is excellent for my children's needs, including some simple "designer" programs.
As I got them when they were on sale :), I will wait for another sale to get another one for my wife, too.

A sharp Insprion unit from Dell!

I've been using the Inspiron 7506 2-in-1 computer for about a month. I compared several other models from Dell and other vendors. With the exception of an ethernet port- this one checked the majority of the boxes for the needs as a unit for tech work.
The fit and finish on the edges are sharp. You'll notice the edges when you pick up the laptop from both sides while it's open or if you open the screen on you lap. Other than that, the average user will like this machine.
I do recommend this laptop once a case is on it!
I ended up buying one of the portfolio type cases for it, making it comfortable in my lap and it protects the metal chassis from scratches and smudges. The machine doesn't get hot with normal use.
Pros:
BIOS interface is expansive
The machine is snappy
Dell's software suite does function and will be helpful for users
Numeric keypad has a calculator key and a Clear key
There are two DDR4 slots with no RAM soldered to the board
Battery life is good
Cons:
Sharp edges require a case
The motherboard only accepts one m.2 drive, no SSD or 2nd m.2
Power button/biometrics key has no light around it
Wifi signal is diminished compared to other wifi 6 devices

I love my DELL laptop. Lightweight, touchscreen, keyboard is just right and includes the number pad which is a must for me. Keyboard has backlight which is great for nighttime, however, during the day the keys are a little difficult to see because the print on the keys is gray and the keys are silver. Fortunately I type without having to look at the keys but it might be helpful to use a different color print on the keys.

I love my new Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 computer. It's quick, light weight, easy to use. I had only one issue but it was very easily explained by Dell Tech Support. When I was on a video conference call, I could see them but they could not see me. There is a very small switch next to the actual camera (you can't see the switch, and you can barely feel it). Very easy guidance thanks to Dell Tech Support since there was NO information online or in the online manual.

A few Design Issues

Relatively user friendly but a few complaints: Why does it not include a disc port? They are still used for things like tax software, had to purchase a separate DVD writer. Also the keyboard is almost impossible to see with any ambient light shining on it. Worst design of any laptop I've ever had.

Lightweight and FAST !
This computer has exceeded my expectations. Set up was easy and having the full keypad with numbers pad really helps with spreadsheets.
Lighting is great on the screen.
My only issue would be the keypad lights are white on silver keys-
you need to have overhead light to be able to make out the letters etc,

Good laptop overall

Great overall laptop. Good screen size, lightweight, backlit keyboard, and touchscreen. It's a very versatile computer. Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is b/c of a screen flicker issue noted by other reviews as well. It has largely gone away with a software update, but still annoying. Got it at a great price, so I'm not too upset by this.

Great machine at a good price - reliable and easy to use. Everything I was looking for - good speed, nice touchscreen, 2 in 1 design. The screen seems larger than it is and is sleek looking. My one criticism is that the letters on the keypad are so light that they are invisible unless you have great light. The Optane really helps in navigating from program to program. If only my internet connection could keep up!

I just recently got this laptop. I love it! To be honest I have t used it much. The only down side I see now is the keyboard. When the lights are on it is difficult to see the letters. Other thank that the screen is amazing, speed is great, and the look is beautiful. I have always loved Dell. Both my first one three years ago but now my husband needs it for work, which means new laptop for me and so far I love it.

Very nicely built laptop with lighted keys making them easy to see in low light. Battery life so far has been excellent. This computer is light weight and thin. The screen display is excellent making watching movies or videos better than watching most flatscreen TV’s. As far as performance, this laptop is fast. I would recommend buying this laptop for most everyday computing.
