Not a fan of the keyboard

Don’t line the silver keyboard, for me personally it’s difficult to read abs work on. Also didn’t see anything that indicates the num lock is on, it may be there but again the silver keys are difficult for me to work with. Because of the keyboard I’ll be returning the laptop and replacing with a dark grey or black. Currently disputing the return with Best Buy customer service, their system shows the Christmas sale price was part of a bundle, which it was not. This is obviously no reflection on the product, and hopefully Best Buy resolved to my satisfaction.

Good deal for price paid

It has a numeric pad that makes it somewhat easier to Tyler in some areas but the basic keyboard is rather small. Something that takes some adjusting.

Fast processor, plenty of storage and company reliability. We are very happy with our purchase.

The backlight of the keys makes it almost impossible to see the keys at a normal sitting position. Im used to the previous dell model that had dark lettering, go back to that style

Ive had two issues with it already and its not even 1 month out the box. Screen stayed black would not boot up to home screen. Was able to use keys to pull up power menu. Powered off twice but still had the same black screen. Finally tried to restart and that resolved the black screen issue. 2nd issue was no options available when I clicked on the power button. "No power options available" message appeared. I had to run a diagnostic test for the power issue but the computer didnt detect any issues. I had to pull up the task manager which thankfull gave me the option to power off. Not very happy with it but itll do.

We're sorry that your computer is not starting up the way that it should. Here are some steps that you can try in order to get your computer started:
1. If the computer is displaying the Dell logo and does not move past that point, it has probably failed POST.
2. If the power indicator lights up and it is amber or orange, this is usually an indicator that it has failed POST.
3. If you see text on a black screen, the computer is currently performing the POST. If the computer stays in that condition and does not move past it, it has probably failed POST.
4. If the video screen displayed anything at all during the startup process but is now black, this probably indicates that the computer failed POST.
5. If the computer is beeping or if Caps/Num/Scroll Locks are flashing, note if there is a particular pattern in which it beeps or flashes.
6. If the computer is not beeping and caps/num/scroll locks are not flashing, unplug all connections and remove all media communication devices (e.g. external monitors); reconnect one at a time and check if the computer functions.
7. For a notebook, press and hold the Fn key and then press the power button. This starts the pre-boot testing and will launch ePSA. In case you have a Desktop at the Dell logo screen tap the F12 key to enter One Time Boot Menu and use the arrow keys to highlight Diagnostics and press enter.

It is everything I want and needed. The Geek squad transferred everything from my old computer and I am now able to sell it. I used our Best Buy credit card and have a full year to pay it off interest free.

This laptop is fast and performs better than expected. The integrated Alexa is a fun feature that helps me move through the day a little easier. And the deal on got on this was excellent, very happy.

No problems but a piece fell off on the one side oby hinges where it opens into a tablet. It does not affect anything , but I was disappointed it happened within the 1st ten minutes of using it.

Well worth the price. Only downside is the back-light on the keyboard. Sometimes is very hard to see.

Dissappointment with Best Buy

I think if I bought the computer and the Microsoft program in Best Buy, the company should offer the service at not cost.
