A new Lenovo, working side-by-side with the Dell, worked fine. Next time I'll try a cable to connect to the LAN. Also had some software problems and had to bring it back to Best Buy for repair.

Run the Network Troubleshooter.
a) Touch and hold or right-click the network icon (Available Networks or Network Icon, located in the lower right-hand corner).
b) Touch or click Troubleshoot problems and then follow the prompts.
We'd also suggest checking to make sure that your software and drivers are up to date on Dell's Product Page - https://dell.to/3gSuD9r. This will not only download and install the latest BIOS and firmware for a smoother experience but also diagnose your system for any errors that may be causing the Wi-Fi connection issues.
