I should have followed my first instinct and went with another brand. So many people told me to try Dell, that Dell is soooo good... now I am one week into my online masters course without a computer. I should note that Best Buy has been very helpful throughout the entire process of getting it fixed. And before the monitor stopped working I was satisfied with the computer's performance. I can't operate without a monitor though.

To avoid, I made sure I shut down computer before closing, which worked fine, but was annoying. I live on an island with no shop, so I couldn’t bring the laptop back in to Best Buy. After 2 months now it won’t turn on anymore at all. Of course return window is closed now. Guess I have wasted $1000!!!
