With tax and everything it ends up $1100 to me. The only difference it has with the black Dell laptop with 1TB SSD is its SSD capacity. Everything else (RAM, CPU and optane SSD) are looking like each other. I can say that for its price, this one is a very better pick. I returned the other one and get this one and I saved $220.

It has everything I need for Quickbooks and my work and also personal for when I'm away from the office or home. It also has the backlit keyboard when makes it nice if I'm working late, which is often. I have only owned it a few weeks, but it's great so far. I would highly recommend!

Silver keys with light blue letters. Have to use a light to see the keys. At night the keys can be illuminated but not very bright.

To help with the keyboard lighting issue we suggest disabling the backlit keyboard when you are in lit areas. Below I have provided the steps to disable the backlighting and the full article link.
Backlit keyboard options in BIOS
1. Click the + sign next to System Configuration.
2. Click Keyboard Illumination.
3.* Disabled or Off - The keyboard illumination is off.
*Dim - The keyboard illumination is at half brightness.
*Bright - The keyboard illumination is at full brightness.
4. Click Apply, and then Exit.
