Anything large I have a USB for anyways. Helps me make sure the laptop stays clean and I dont allow it to get cluttered with old junk.

I had regretted not getting a backlit keyboard on my last laptop so was excited this one has it -- not thinking about the fact that the keyboard is silver in color, making the lit letters impossible to see when ambient lights are on. Oh well... I bought it despite the touch screen (I've been stroking keys for more than 50 years, why change now?) and jump every time the screen size changes while I'm working from the keyboard. Don't know why it does that. I'm still getting to know this computer and so far don't love it, but will learn to live with it much as I learned to live with a dinosaur I inherited with a job in 1985. I grumbled when my Lenovo died after six years but don't think I'll grumble whenever this one croaks. It's just a tool with nothing special to make me smile.

This dell inspirion 7506 2n1 is a dream. Lighter, easier to set up and use. I'm excited to dig in to the possibilities!

Good Bang for the Buck

Like it and really fast compared to aging machines (Microsoft Surface Pro 6 Intel i5 256gb storage, Dell Inspiron 15inch 2012 model). Looking to upgrade the storage, screen quality, included Dell Pen/Stylus, dedicated GPU. Probably going to return and get the Dell Inspiron 2-1 i7506-7958SLV-PUS. I am looking to teach online courses in addition to normal everyday emailing, watching Netflix, online errands, etc.

Pc Magazine & Consumer Reports indicated a battery of 12-13 hours at full charge. Actually, full charge was 3 hrs, 53 minutes! Additionally, the charging light was a rear left side by power cord input. Too determine of laptop was fully charged, you had to look at the rear of the laptop to see if chargong light was off (full charge). My old Dell Studio 15 had the light up front. Would not recommend this laptop. The silver keyboard was hard to see and the light was too faint. 50% of the time my fingerprint was not recognized and had to use my Pin.

Lastly, to help with the keyboard lighting issue we suggest disabling the backlit keyboard when you are in lit areas. Below I have provided the steps to disable the backlighting and the full article link.
Backlit keyboard options in BIOS
1. Click the + sign next to System Configuration.
2. Click Keyboard Illumination.
3.* Disabled or Off - The keyboard illumination is off.
*Dim - The keyboard illumination is at half brightness.
*Bright - The keyboard illumination is at full brightness.
4. Click Apply, and then Exit.
