Love this computer! Pros - 1TB SSD Screen is brilliant! Touch Screen is intuitive More than one USB Battery Life General Functionality & Versatility (2n1) Start Up time is near nonexistent Facial Recognition for Unlock Cons - hard to think of any but I could've appreciated a smaller screen/overall size. There are other models but I needed the storage. This likely isn’t a con to most. The back of the screen raises/angles the keyboard which is nice but I worry about wear on the back edge. Thus far, doesn’t seem to be an issue. I really love this computer and praise Dell for its design. The cons are hard to list because they’re trivial and likely not cons to others. Would definitely recommend this laptop.

I like the keyboard on this Dell laptop better than my previous HP laptop. Check with me after I have owned this for 2+ years. When I needed a new battery for my HP, they didn't make the battery anymore! Hoping Dell is better with helping customers.

This is a great pc. It is sooo fast, I am blown away. I have had a pc since the early 90s. This is the first time I have bought a newer model pc. I would usually buy a 2sd gen pc to lower cost. I am so glad I bought this machine. I did buy open box to save some $$. Machine itself has been flawless. The screen is bright and clear, beautiful to look upon. I loaded it with some of my favorite utils and it is perfect. *the only con is that some of the details of this laptop have been awkward to discover. ex I new nothing about the type C port and have yet to find details about it on this machine. No stats to find what the power capacity is or other capabilities of the C.

We love this laptop. We had a Lenovo yoga top of the line, more expensive, bought 3 yrs ago, It had battery problems and then died. We bought this Dell laptop after limited research and it’s great. It cost $500 less than the Lenovo 3 yrs ago. It’s a little larger which we like. The only tiny complaint we have is that the magnetic pen that comes with it (which is very cool) has such a string magnet that it’s a little difficult to get it out of the charging holder. We solved that by making a little tape tab that we can pull up to pull the pen out. Also we got this laptop on sale for $1,399. The next week it went up to $1,549. So wait for a sale.

Amazing Performance! I have used this system for my primary computer at home and work and have found it to be a perfect fit. I just retired from being a middle school, high school history teacher. This computer was used every day during all 5 class periods for 17 months to project content, keep accurate student records, surf the Internet, prepare lesson plans and exams, and more. I couldn't be happier with this system!

    Good laptop needing software updates!

It's a good home laptop successfully performing all the functions you'd expect, i.e. email, web browsing, spreadsheets, word processing, etc. However, it took a few days to function properly. The laptop was produced in late 2020, then purchased in early 2022. Since production, software drivers and OS have gone through several updates, which need to be downloaded and installed before some glitches, i.e. jumping cursor, and full functionality are achieved. Dell tech support was VERY helpful! It's now running fine.

I really, really want to love this laptop. Its beautiful! Has all the specs I want for using Photoshop has 2 standard USB ports (hard to find on 2in1) but....its been nothing but a pain since getting it. At first the screen was jumping around a lot, zooming in and out, clicking on on windows and programs randomly by itself. Ghost toughing I think is what its called - and apparently is a thing with touchscreen PC's (this is my first one). Found that wiping the screen daily from the touchpoints helps but doesn't 100% solve the problem. If that's all it was doing - I would probably let it slide BUT the thing crashes multiple times per day. Today alone it shut off 4 times. I like to ride my bike inside on a trainer hooked up to Zwift or similar apps - crashed right in the middle of the workout. Later - checking email - Crash. then again 2 more times without any load on the system. I'm still inside my holiday return window and I just spent all night researching new PC's to buy. I really want to love this one...but its just not working out. I've done all the recommended updates including the BIOS that came out few days ago hoping that would help but I keep getting my hopes up only to be disappointed

      jepe913,

We're sorry to hear about your frustrations with your new computer and this is not the experience that we like to hear our customers having. Thank you for doing all of the recommended updates to make sure that you did everything that you could to try to resolve the issues. Please consider reaching out directly to Dell's Technical Support Team for additional assistance with your computer:  http://dell.to/2sH7Qlm.

If you'd like to re-calibrate your touchpad for better accuracy, you can follow these steps:

Some Notebooks and Tablets with Keyboards have added gesture features to the touchpad hardware and drivers. A few of these features are two or three finger scrolling, pinch zoom, circle zoom, rotate and swiping. These new features may be the reason for the erratic cursor movement since most are turned on by default. You can disable or modify the way the features work in the touchpad driver properties. Here are some tips to modify these settings:

      1. In the Search box, type main.cpl.
      2. Touch or click main.cpl in the list of programs.
      3. Touch or click the Dell Touchpad tab.
      4. Touch or click on the picture of the touchpad.
      5. Touch or click Gestures (depending on your computer there may not be a Gestures option).
      6. Change the options as preferred.
      7. Touch or click Save.
      8. Touch or click the X in the upper-right corner to close the Dell Touchpad Utility.
      9. Touch or click OK on the Mouse Properties window.
      10. If the touchpad still does not work after following the preceding steps, refer to Dell Knowledge Base article - http://dell.to/2iaiujA.

You can read the full article here - http://dell.to/2tqmS02.

At first the screen was glitching out a bit but I restarted the laptop and it hasn’t happened since. Sometimes it doesn’t charge well when I use an old charger that is the same type and power, so be careful not to lose the charger or you’ll have to replace it with the exact same kind! Screen is great, touch screen quite useful and can actually run some hefty video games as well. I got it for bringing with me to classes for school and the pen helps me with that! Overall pretty good laptop if you have the money for it since it is a bit pricey.
