A big improvement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my wife for her online teaching consulting business. I set it up, oriented her to it, and now I no longer use it. If it weren’t working perfectly, I would certainly hear about it. I’m not geeky enough to make informed critical comparison to other comparable devices, but I was pleased with it when I set it up, and she’s pleased with it now.

Broken after one year of use
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered Inspiron 7000 2 in 1 from Best Buy and received Oct 6, 2021. Dell doesn't care when you bought it, warranty starts the day they ship not when you purchase, One year later typing on the keyboard cause the computer to shut down and reboot. I didn't figure out why it was shutting down at first. I use the laptop for photo editing and don't type on it a lot, mostly wacom pad and pen work. Called Dell today to ask: 1) Why did my warranty expire after 8 months not 12? 2) Why does a 1 year warranty/service plan renewal that the site says is $92.65 turn into $134.95 when I add it to the cart? 3) Why should I have to pay at all for a computer with a defective keyboard? I didn't get an answer to any of the aforementioned questions by the way. I did get told they would not renew my warranty/service contract until the broken keyboard was fixed. I still have a 13 year old HP sitting on the floor next to me that still works, it is just not have the horsepower to process photos. For everything else that 13 year old computer still works fine including, get this, I can type on it! Moral of the story is don't by a Dell, they are junk. This is the third one (shame on me) I have had in 20 is years and none of them have been as good as the HP, Acer, Sony or even Compaq(back in the day). Other than the keyboard problem, the computer will overheat and lock up as well. I would give more detail, but, I don't have a functioning keyboard.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine is the best one I have had in over 30 years. And the GEEK SQUAD are and continue to be THE BEST in the business with a lot of patience helping people out getting a new computer set up. Alex and Agent Ross have been unbelievably helpful and understanding in the Prescott store.

Dell Inspiron 7000
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is faster than my 11-year-old windows 10 and is a bit of a challenge to get use to Windows 11, but so far so good. The biggest challenge so far is getting use to a silver keyboard with white letters. It is difficult at times to make out the characters.

Great Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just getting started but has all the functunality I had hoped. Love having the number keypad not always available on other models. Privacy shutter on web cam nice addition. Nice screen size with great picture, can't wait to stream a movie.. Like the ability to use as a tablet and touch screen or just go basic. Best of both worlds.

Overall excellent with the exception of keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dell laptop has the speed and agility to handle today's gaming and office systems. While the keyboard is difficult to see in daylight and in a lit office background it otherwise more than fits the bill. I would recommend contrasting the keys a bit more.

Suits my senior needs...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a senior user. I use a detached keyboard on a pullout because I need to have the screen close for better visibility and to be able to reach it for touch screen. Being able to fold the computer to have this better/closer screen visibility and also closer easy reach to the touch screen is great.

Great!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it has been great. This is perfect for a home office laptop. I really like the larger screen. It makes a significant difference. Also, I really enjoyed the employees at my local best buy. They were so helpful. I will definitely go back for more purchases. I did get the warranty too.
