I have not used the battery power yet so I am unsure of how it performs but It does get hot plugged in. The keys on keyboard to easily adjust brightness, second screen, volume are very helpful to me. I love the shutter to close camera and keep my video secure. It would be nice to have a setting for the microphone too to easily be turned off.
