    still learning how to use it. not liking how different it is from the HP computers I have. I need it for my business and didn't need such a learning curve. Also right from the start it did not work right when I tried to set it up and had to talk to Dell support and they ended up having to reinstall the harddrive. So it did not work correctly right out of the box. Never had that experience before on any other computer. So not very happy. Also everyone at Dell support was not from this country and they were hard to understand. All 3 people I talked to. So I will not be buying another Dell.

    Bought this a few weeks ago. One of the worst computers I've ever purchased. It continually wants me to allow it to shut down and update. I've allowed it to Update and Restart -- then it turns on and prompts me again to update. I then allow it to Update and Shut Down. Only to find out when turned on again that it didn't update and prompts me to update again. I shut down the laptop through the menu navigation system. Then when I turn it back on, it will tell me it incorrectly shut down. Or that the battery is in critical condition (mind you, it's been plugged in the whole time). Computer then prompted itself to do a BIOS update. Very unreliable computer. Unfortunately, I threw away the box to this laptop a few days after purchasing. Hoping Best Buy will still allow me to return it so I can purchase a different laptop.

      Thank you for sharing your experience, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Rest assured that is sounds like your system is operating normally. There are typically a number of operating system, firmware, and BIOS updates that release between your Inspiron leaving the factory and it arriving in your hands. Depending on your usage, these may require multiple restarts to finalize. We recommend you proceed as it is critical these updates are installed so you have the best possible experience to date. You can check the progress of these updates within Windows Update settings as well as the Dell Update application that came pre-installed with your device.

    Dead webcam

    Internal Webcam died in 2 weeks. Screen went black. You can’t use the whiteboard with zoom because when you touch it there a big streaks that go all over the screen. This is a lemon. Today is day five of calling Dell, Dell customer support, and Dell technical support. 22 calls later I am getting a replacement computer. It was unbelievably long and horrible to have this rectified. I rarely complain. I will say that the last Dell employee who took care of me was fine. But it took that long to get to someone who wanted to help.
