A Quality Laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the size of this computer, the memory, and the speed of the processor! At first I was going to take it back because I could not see the keys on the keyboard due to the backlight but I found out you can turn it off so now it's perfect!

Great computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hestitant at first about buying a 17" computer screen since i had always had a 15.6" screen. Boy, I am glad I did. I love it. There is no lagging, buffering or freezing on this computer. I like the touch screen and number key pad. It has met my needs and expectations!

Amazing screen
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the best screen of any laptop. It has a bigger display than the XPS and it is much lighter and portable. The tablet makes it easy to edit photos or do tablet work and it is very enjoyable to watch movies on. The laptop does a good job of cooling and good battery life.

Excellent Standard Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop is light and the QHD+ touch screen is amazing. The laptop is quick to start and can easily handle your productivity suite for school or work. I use it daily to run a handful programs with over 10 browser tabs open. The Display card is entry level, so not a good choice if you plan to use it for GPU intensive tasks - light games should run okay. Took a half point off because of the backlit keyboard. the key and the printed letter almost of the same color depending on the environment light and screen reflection angel, it is difficult to see the key (sometime impossible). You may need to add a keyboard cover to overcome this little annoyance.

Great Usage
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been everything I wanted in a laptop. Only issue I have seen is with the PIN code and it will not let me change or update. The laptop has the visible features but seems to not have the software.

Touchscreen Functionality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Inspiron 7000 is sleek looking and easy to operate. The 17” screen provides functionality with its touchscreen and I had no problems navigating screen to screen and app to app. I am still familiarizing myself and enjoying everything the laptop has to offer.

A great office-driven computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my girlfriend a few weeks ago. She's a freelance resume writer (look up "Sherrell Writes" on all social media platforms). This computer is huge. It's operating really well, seamlessly. A couple of quirks here and there, but overall we love this computer.

Just right
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I love this new Dell laptop! It's speedy, easy to use, and remains fairly cool. Best part was the buying experience. Taylor at the Richfield store was super helpful and found me just what I needed. I spent more than I wanted to, but isn't that often the way it goes?

Sleek
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Very light weight compared to my last laptop. I dont do anything crazy on my laptops but my last dell lasted 9 years before it started to slow down so I figured it was worth the investment to get the upgraded model. Love the touchscreen.

Mostly what I wanted...some deficits.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm generally pleased with this laptop, which has most of the bells and whistles I wanted - 17", back-lit keyboard, number pad. The colors are vibrant and crisp, and other features pretty much work as I need them to. CONS: I'm NOT happy about their moving the "home" "enter" "end" and "insert keys" over along the FN row...and the number pad keys are inconveniently smaller. We touch "typists" have to relearn finger positioning. :( There's no way to activate wi-fi without clicking several times. No FN button for airplane mode or slide or click on/off toggle physically on the laptop. Too few input ports..solved with BUYING a extension ports device, which is annoying given the expense of this unit. There's a flickering issue that is very annoying and frustrating.

Posted .Stitchintime,
Thanks for your review and we're glad to see that for the most part you are enjoying your new laptop. Some people have had success disabling HDR within the Intel graphics settings in order to improve on the flickering. Oh, I wanted to like this machine.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I need to say that I bought this as an opened box item. I think i know why now. It was easy to load all my info on it. The screen is great. The microprocessor is fast. And the 16GB ram handled some pretty hungry programs like DaVinci Resolve for video editing and Protools for music/audio editing. Now for the bad stuff. After five days it crashed and wouldn't come back without a complete system reboot, losing everything I had loaded. Unfortunately, I hadn't created a recover drive, my bad, so I was back to square one. Then there were the audio issues. The speakers were so quiet I could hardly hear them sometimes and other times they were adequate... never good. When I plugged in headphones all I got was hiss, load hiss. I tried 4 different headphones. FYI All of the headphones work with other computers and devices. The final blow was when I had to put my ear right on the speaker to hear it, at full volume. I took it to Best Buy and all of the drivers and hardware were up to date and "working". I returned it. To close this review on a positive note, the staff at the Best Buy Store in Burbank, CA were great. Johnny (manager) took care of me. He got Felix (Geek Squad dude) to go through my Dell and recommended returning this one and looking for a replacement. Sergio (Sales guy) took time to really look over my options and needs. I walked out with another Dell. I haven't given up on Dell. I'll review it when I've used it for a while.

Dell laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great machine. I love it a lot. Starts in seconds. Battery life is good. Touch screen works fine. However, do not let the battery run empty to shut down your laptop, it will take the laptop about 5 minutes to get charged before it can start again.

I love my new Dell
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using this for a month and a half and very pleased with it. Love that it is fast and since i'm not really considered a 'power user' using it for daily tasks as email and other things is very easy. The only thing I'm sort of unhappy with is that the finger ID does not work each time. I guess maybe I need to re-do the application nut rarely does it take the first time and then with the PIN number backup its fine. So if you're looking for a review from a power user I'm not one, but it does what I want to do and does it fast.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop has really nice features. Fits my needs
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All the qualities of a laptop I was looking for... 17-in screen, 2in1 convertibility, full size keyboard, processing speed, SSD hard drive to name a few. I took so long to decide to buy it that this new model came out. Wish I had bought it sooner.
