I am nothing more than a casual user so not an expert by far. I did not know that the monitor needed to be HDMI, So I upgraded my monitor at an extra cost. Could have have bought the the adapter, but whent with a replacement.

This computer is all it is advertised as and works perfectly, although the new Microsoft Word version is not as good as the previous version. Inconsistent language is difficult and assumptions about users are frequently incorrect.

The PC which suddenly died was purchased two and a half years ago to replaced a Dell Inspiron that I had had for almost thirteen years. Obviously I trust Dell.

This computer replaced a Windows 8.1, all-in-one unit. Everything transferred from the old unit without trouble, and I was happy to find a reasonably priced tower with a built-in DVD-RW drive. Using the new system is very similar to what I've been using.

Made three trips to the store with the old computer and new one to get programs changed and it didn't work Patrick Barnard of the Geek Squad came to our home and had everything up and running in 30 minutes. GO PATRICK. Stronghly recommend Patrick.

Specs are good for the money. Everything runs fast and no issues with set up or operation so far. My client has been happy with it.

The SSD is really only for the OS, but you can add a few apps before running low on space. An external drive is probably a necessity (or trying to fit another hdd inside).

However, I was surprised to discover that I could not hook up my older HP monitor without an HDMI to VGA adaptor. So back to Best Buy to spend more money on this item and delaying the setup for another day. Would have been nice for Dell to include this adaptor, or at least advise that it might be necessary. Cost Dell a star on this review.

The Dell Inspiron is very compact and the fan noise is less noisy than any desktop I have ever used.

Give me a break. I hate the looks of the screen on my TV. I have a 40-inch TV and the game I play on FB goes past the sides of the screen. It's all I could afford though.
