I added 4 GB more memory, which has been plenty for my applications. I also added a Western Digital 500 GB NVME m.2 SSD as the boot drive, and it simply flies. Dell has quite a few models that can be easily upgraded as I did with my Latitude 3400.

I have purchased many Dell laptops throughout the years. Recently purchased a Dell Latitude 3400. This laptop is the slowest most unreliable laptop I have ever purchased.
I will never purchase a Dell product again.

raider3,
We're sorry to hear that your Dell Latitude is not operating the way you hoped it would. We'd recommend running the Windows Performance Troubleshooter to see if there are ways to improve your computer's performance:
1. Close all open windows. 2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard. 3. Click Control Panel. 4. Click System and Security. 5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems. 6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks. 7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process. 8. Restart the PC.
