I’ve spent a few days with the Dell Plus 2-in-1 16", and honestly, it’s one of those laptops that just gets most things right. From the moment I opened the lid, the solid build gave off a premium feel—no flimsy plastic here. Here are my comments on each section I found relevant to my use case; • Sharp FHD+ Touchscreen – The display is crisp, colorful, and smooth, whether I’m scrolling through articles or watching videos. Plus, the touchscreen adds that extra level of convenience when I want to ditch the trackpad. The CON: I would prefer the screen to get a little brighter. Totally fine for indoor use, but hard to see when outside in daylight. (minus 1 star) • Fast Wi-Fi – No lag, no endless buffering—it connects quickly and holds strong, even in spots where other devices struggle. • Backlit Keyboard – This is a game-changer in dim lighting, making late-night typing a breeze. • Great Number Pad Layout – I appreciate the big Enter button—it just feels right when typing. My previous laptop has the smaller enter button and I constantly hit the wrong button. • Standard USB & HDMI Ports – Having a full-size USB slot and HDMI port means I don’t have to carry around adapters, which is always a plus. • Fingerprint Reader – Quick and reliable—it lets me log in instantly without typing a password every time. • Solid Build – This laptop feels sturdy and well-constructed, making it perfect for daily use. Since this is on the larger size, it is a bit heavy, so I would recommend the 14 inch model if you are on the go a lot. • Good Battery Life – I can go hours without scrambling for a charger, which is great when I do happen to travel with it. • Sound – The sound quality is much louder than my previous laptop. Pretty impressive for a laptop. Overall, the Dell Plus 2-in-1 doesn’t just perform well—it feels good to use. It’s a laptop that balances power, convenience, and thoughtful design. If you're looking for something reliable with a fast connection, practical features, and premium feel, (And for indoor use) this might be the one for you.

This Dell 16” Intel Core Ultra 7 Copilot+ laptop is, for the most part, a solid machine for everyday use. While it adds to the weight, the aluminum casing gives it a premium feel, and I think it will hold up longer than plastic found on many laptops. The keyboard provides a sturdy feeling without too many clacking sounds. The trackpad is, well, average at best; I always use an external mouse on laptops that only have a trackpad. The screen is bright and crisp for an LED display. The ability to use this as a clamshell laptop or a tablet is fun, but I doubt most people will use it as a tablet since it is relatively heavy compared to other tablets. Interestingly, the 16-inch version and 14-inch version of this laptop are the same price despite having almost identical specs other than the size of the screen. First Impressions: Starting this laptop up was a very disappointing experience (see pictures). I was disappointed in how many updates – both software and firmware – this laptop needed just to get to the point of getting to the Windows desktop. It took almost 2 hours from first powering the laptop on to being able to start using it. I don’t know whether to fault Dell or Microsoft … but a laptop this new shouldn’t take that long. Getting Microsoft 365 setup was also a poor experience – I had to uninstall/reinstall M365 from my Microsoft account to get it up and running. The bloatware is reasonable for a Windows machine although I did go through and remove a lot of apps I found unnecessary for my use case. Using the Laptop: I have been using this computer mainly for business purposes. For general Microsoft apps and web browsing, the i7 Ultra with 16GB of shared RAM/Integrated Graphics was pleasantly as quick as a hiccup. When pushing the integrated graphics card a little via a video editing app, the laptop still felt adequate. Over the week or so I’ve been using this laptop, the battery life is decent. I can get through a day of back-to-back Teams meetings along with some Excel and Access work with about 20% battery life remaining when it’s time to pack up (note, I intentionally keep the screen very dim to achieve this on all my mobile devices). Certainly a good battery, especially for a 16-inch laptop but nothing remarkable. Copilot+ is embedded in all aspects of this device and I was impressed with how quickly I was able to generate answers to questions of many varieties. One thing to note on this device – the fan can get a bit noisy which, at first, startled me a little as my “main” computer is from a different manufacturer, runs a different OS, and has no fan. Final Thoughts: I would say this Dell is a decent value for its price point and capabilities. If I had the chance to choose over again, I would probably go with the 14-inch even though it’s the same price. This laptop is solid, but also large and when on the road, real estate in a backpack or briefcase is precious. Overall, I think most people would find this laptop perfectly capable of performing everyday tasks. If they offered this laptop with Windows 11 Pro at a similar price point, I would say it has a lot of potential.

The laptop also boasts a comfortable keyboard, a responsive touchpad, and a sturdy build quality that feels more premium than its price tag suggests. While the performance and build are strong, the Dell Plus 2-in-1 does have a few notable compromises. The display, while a 2K resolution on some models, can be somewhat dim and lacking in vibrancy compared to higher-end laptops with OLED screens. This might be a dealbreaker for users who prioritize vibrant colors for creative work or media consumption. The audio quality is also a little flat. Ultimately, the Dell Plus 2-in-1 is a great value proposition. If you need a dependable, long-lasting machine that offers the flexibility of a tablet and can handle daily tasks with speed, it's a solid choice that's hard to beat at this price point. Just be aware of its display and audio limitations.

I’m really impressed with this Dell Plus 2-in-1 laptop. The 16” 2K touch screen is sharp and vibrant, perfect for both work and entertainment. The Intel Core Ultra 7 delivers fast performance, and with 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD, everything runs smoothly with plenty of storage. I also love the sleek design and the flexibility of the 2-in-1 mode. Great balance of power, portability, and style!

I recently purchased the Dell Plus 16" laptop. Its' display is sharp with vibrant colors. The performance speed is very fast. Plenty of memory for Excel, Word, and web browsing. Features a sixteen inch touch screen plus a large responsive touch pad, a number pad and a backlit keyboard. The design of this laptop is thinner and appealing. Competitive price - the sale price was well priced and affordable.

Let me start with this for me this laptop was so close to perfect the performance the design were incredible but I was let down by one thing and that was one of the most glaring things on the laptop the screen. Two issues for me they are no way deal breakers but they keep it from scoring a 5 star. The glare when there is bright lights can be a bit tough but that mainly happens because it’s not that bright. In low light the screen looks great the colors are on point and it has enough brightness but during the day or around bright lights the screen just isn’t bright enough to enjoy. Now that is out of the way let me talk about all the good. The design is great so simple yet so elegant plenty for space on the keyboard and has good area to rest your wrists as you type and the mousepad works incredibly well. Performance is also really good any task I threw at it handled pretty well even did some light gaming granted the fans really kick on if your playing an intense game but I was able to pay some modern games with decent graphics settings. The screen while a bit too dim for me does look really god color accuracy is great and the speakers are very good and can get pretty decently loud. All in all this is the total package for a laptop it has great battery life a great design and for the most part a great looking screen. I definitely recommend this laptop if your looking for something for work slash media consumption

The Dell Plus 2-in-1 16" Touch Screen Laptop is the first laptop that I have had that has had built in AI capabilities. Key AI features include things like Copilot AI Assistant. You can use it to help with tasks like summarizing documents, drafting emails, and offering suggestions. It can generate real-time subtitles for any audio for meetings, or videos for social media. It can enhance video calls with features like background blur, automatic framing and more. The cocreator tool can assit in image creation and editing visuals. I plan on using it at my board meeting this week to take notes and sumarize the meeting notes. The laptop itself has a 16" touch screen, is full high definition, and can be used in different modes: laptop, tent, tablet, and stand modes. It has (1) HDMI 2.1 port, (1) USB Gen 1 Type A, (1) USB Type C port, (1) Thunderbolt 4 port, and (1) Headset Jack. The laptop is made very well. I like the backlit keyboard and the numberkeyboard. It seems like it is very well made and will last a long time. The only downside I see is that it is a little on the heavy side weighing in at 4.52 pounds. I have not tested this - but it says that the battery can last 21-24 hours. I hope I never have to work for that many hours straight to find out - but it would be nice to have a machine that you can rely on. This is another beautiful Dell product that I look forward to having for many years to come.

The laptop is well built and the 16-inch touch-screen is vibrant and responsive, making it a pleasure to use for both work and entertainment. The build quality feels premium, and the lightweight design makes it easy to carry around. It equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor handles multitasking with ease. The 16GB of memory ensures smooth performance even with multiple applications running simultaneously. I have experienced no lag or slowdown, even when working on intensive tasks like video editing or running complex simulations. The 1TB SSD provides ample storage space for all my files and applications. It also contributes to the laptop's fast boot times and quick access to data. Transferring files is a breeze, and the overall system responsiveness is impressive. Battery life is great and I can easily get through a most day of work on a single charge, which is essential for my on-the-go lifestyle. The touch-screen is highly responsive which enhance the productivity. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, with well-spaced keys. The trackpad is super large and precise, making navigation effortless. The Built-in FHD+ Webcam is perfect for Zoom / Team meetings and super helpful for Windows login using Hello. It came with Windows 11 and initial setup took almost 30 mins with so many software updates including BIOS. Copilot+ leverages AI to offer contextual assistance across various applications. This integration is designed to predict user needs and provide real-time suggestions, making it a valuable tool for enhancing productivity. The Intel Core Ultra 7 processor ensures that these AI functions run seamlessly without lag. With Copilot+, task management becomes more intuitive. It automatically organize the emails, set reminders, and even suggest follow-ups based on previous interactions. The integration with Microsoft Office applications means that features like AI-driven insights in Excel or automated formatting in Word can be done without any additional skills / efforts. Copilot+ shines in collaborative environments. It provides intelligent recommendations during meetings, such as summarizing key points, suggesting action items, and even predicting the next steps. Integration with Microsoft Teams allows for real-time transcription and translation, making it easier to collaborate with international teams. Overall, the Dell - Plus 2-in-1 16" is solid laptop and it combines powerful performance, a decent touch screen display, and good battery life in a portable design.

I love my new laptop! I have the Dell 16 plus 2 in 1, the processing speed is awesome. I love that I can have multiple apps open and no lagging. The picture is amazing too, I can download images from my phone and even blown up on my laptop screen all the small details are there, it’s great. The battery life is fantastic, I dont have to worry about forgetting my charger when I go to school, it’ll last. And the service at Best Buy in Chesterfield was amazing, all of the staff was incredibly knowledgable and wonderful when it came to helping me make my decision.
